I was involved in a RTA 9years ago roughly. The claim was dealt with by Partners and Co Solicitors, due to my injuries I had to fight to have a MRI scan as doctors who work with the solicitors informed me after multiple appointment of seeing different doctors my injuries would with time would not have a effect on my life. The MRI showed two herniated disc one in my lower back and one in the lower section of my neck. I was offered a series of physo therapy which only scratched the surface of my injuries which they were aware of. I informed the company my injuries were not getting any better at that point I felt the issues start. It’s been a few years and I’m still having sever neck and back pain caused by the RTA. Had I not been persistent I would not of been aware of the true seriousness of the injuries I have suffered. I’m writing this as I want to know if I can seek claim against the injury company. I have had to pay privately to visit chiropractors and got deep tissue massages to relive the constant pain I have been experiencing over these years. The constant back and forth with the company and being told lies upon lies from credited people who’s job it is to help and support those who have suffered tremendously and being told I will recover from this RTA DISPUTE the diagnostician from doctors who worked WITH the company. I would like to know if anyone can adivise me on what to do as I’m at my wits ends I have become less social and the shear pain is unbearable I swim as and when I’m able to I have tried everything. I believe these injury companies are soupy
Money driven and should have a duty of care to ensure all those that claim through them are dealt with in a truthful way. In the end I decided to settle the claim as I felt I could pay privately to make sure I don’t experience pain and stiffness as the doctors were NOT helpful also I’ll like to mention the funds I received were no way near what I should have been given in this circumstance and as a result of the two herniated disc, I’m in addition experience intense headaches since the RTA. Like I previously mentioned I hope someone reads this and is able to give me some advice.
