I've had unprofessional behavior from Sarah . Don't use this firm unless you want your buyers, there solicitors, estate agent and yourself left wondering where she is and why the agreed exchange hasn't taking place because she's just left the office and told no one on the afternoon of exchange or given an apology. Simple manners one would of thought.

failed to provide legal documents she agreed to send. Not mention the money you will waste chasing her for work she should of completed or emailed back well within a beyond reasonable time frame ie exchange, completion , completion statement and break down of costs tho payment has been taken in full.

To say every one involved thought trying to get this solicitor to complete a simple sale felt like pulling teeth is an understatement.

For someone charging what they do honestly save your self the time and money and find a different firm.

I have used several different firms before when purchasing properties, but my experience with Parnalls Solicitors was easily the best. Claire made the whole transaction smooth, simple and as speedy as possible. Nice office in Launceston centre too. Would recommend.

If you are buying a house, please ensure the seller is not using Parnalls solicitors (I believe they were using Sarah W but it could have been someone else). Just walked away from our house purchase after 4 months of nothing, chasing to answer queries being met with refusal, outdated paperwork. They also failed to pass on queries from our solicitor and waited a month to do so, for no reason! No chain either side too, just embarrassing.

Parnalls were recommended to us and so glad they were. They did all the legal side of selling a house and everything was great and they're very approachable and nothing too much trouble. They kept us updated too, every step of the way. I'd like to shout out to Claire too, she was great and an asset to the company. Give that lady a raise! Thanks.

Sarah Weir at Parnalls dealt with our sale and purchase, just recently completed.
Superb, in a word ! Start to finish, communication, thorough, accurate, and prompt.
Sarah was always available, if you needed to call, Sarah was always approachable.
It was a pleasure to deal with and meet you Sarah!

No return telephone calls , lack of response to emails. Gave incorrect notice to Tennant so the case was thrown out of court. Started again with correct notice managed to evict the tenant bit because of the delay covid delayed the eviction by 18 months..
We are still fighting for the return of our security bond 17 months later. Our home was destroyed we had no rent for over 3 years and paid Parnells a substantial amount of money for the pleasure.

Incompetent... A sham of communication and lack of any professionalism has been given in trying to complete on a house. The conveyancer has shown little or no interest at all in any aspect of the purchase. Trying to get blood from a stone comes to mind.. Over 4 months to try and complete on an empty property with no chain.. And still nothing.. Disgusting.
