Great place for a nice break on south coast. The caravan site is right opposite the beach. The beach goes for 7 miles and part is sandy, part pebbles. Both are very unique. The site is probably the best caravan site I have stayed on in terms of things to do. Essential in my view as you cannot guarantee good weather in England. Plenty of places to eat. I like the fish and chips shop best. You can eat in or take away. Nice sit down restaurant too. Good little supermarket on site too with lots of stuff for meals. Could do with more fruit and veg selection. It is just a really nice happy place. The staff have all been great. Special shout out to Trea in reception who got me sorted and the nice older lady in the Nisa store who was very caring when I had a medical issue. Will I come back? Already planning it for next spring.

Sadly this holiday was a great disappointment. We booked expecting a fabulous dog friendly holiday. However, dog friendly it sadly wasnt. We have no complaints about the accommodation.. it was clean and tidy and very well equipped. A dog friendly van and was really nice. However,.there was virtually nowhere we could take our dog Lily on site. There was no dog friendly restaurant or bar! There were no pubs nearby within walking distance! The weather wasn't great with wind and rain (not the fault of ParkDean). But there really should be places on site to take dogs if they are allowed on site!

Wouldn't take a family here. Very basic on site and off site. Camber has very little to offer and the security levels might be justified for the ruff surroundings but doesn't feel right in a family friendly zone. Many issues with the chalet (which granted were fixed eventually). The positive were the entertainment, arcade and swimming staff who tried. But needs great investment in and around the area.

What a disgusting, dirty, smelly hole. Stayed in a bungalow.||Was meant to sleep 6.||It was so disgusting. Very smelly on entering. I don't believe it had been cleaned, freezer door inside fridge so frozen up door wouldn't close. Dirty dishwasher. Dirty work surfaces. Cracked and dirty glasses hob. Very dusty floor lamp. Broken sofa leg making it unsafe to sit on. Fag burns in sofa.||No frying pan or grill pan. Not enough glasses for 6. Coloured plastic cups instead. Black hairs in the shower. Bin dirty on removing the bin bag. Reception did send housekeeping eventually. Maintaince next day. ||On stripping the beds on departure day, we found stained mattresses, pillows and duvets and one sheet with a rip in it.||Asked for an upgrade and pay for the difference. Only downgrades available. Checked with my family and returned to reception within 10 minutes to be told that they had nothing available now.|But when I went online, there was plenty available.||Very disappointed and won't be going back or recommending.

Spent 4 nights here as family of 5, kids ranging in ages from 14 to 8. Something for everyone to do. Easy access to the beach. Facilities centrally located with a good selection of food places. Definitely quicker to order to table at peak times.
Would definitely come again, even as a couple without the kids.

I went here for my birthday 19 of us so you can imagine is wasn't cheap.
On arrival to our lodge we notice the veranda was disgusting and so was our lodge.
Danielle the guess house manager was so rude if you hate your job QUIT..
After raising complaints about the caravan her response was WE ARE NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL and my fridge was broken they gave us a small one for 8 people then she I COULD OF CANCELLED YOUR HOLIDAY BECAUSE YOUR FRIDGE ISNT WORKING.
everyday i was a complaining about things they where meant to come out to do.
Veranda needs cleaning = jet wash is broken
My oven the first night of using it was smoking up couldn't eat the food so we end up getting takeaway. I called the next morning no response so I went to reception after my debate with Danielle the rest of the staff had an attitude to complain about the oven she promised someone will be out within the hour, so we waited so I can do breakfast never came out got takeaway AGAIN lunch time came takeaway AGAIN. It was around 3pm they came out to clean the oven and it had burnt plastic on the bottom she did her best to get it cleaned in the end I went out to buy oven cleaner to do it myself. there was big dirty cobwebs, tap came off, inside cupboards was dirty, blood on the curtains, food on the kitchen bin, mould in shower, the list it goes on.
We go to parkdean around the UK at least once a year and never had a problem never.
But the service i got was appalling it ruined my birthday. So my advice to you guys is STAY AWAY.. go somewhere else. Go on trip advisor or on here and look at the reviews, when people make a complaint there respond is always the same they are liars they are not sorry at all they had enough amble time to make our holiday a good time.
Don't pay for early check in we payed for 1pm check only to got told that my lodge isn't ready they where understaffed and had to do the 4pm check ins.. make that make sense. I said It wasn't acceptable, the response was check in is from 1pm upto 4pm so we waited around for 40 minutes before we got the key to grime lodge.
The park is really good so much for the kids to do. Stag away from the crepe stand because it isn't crepe it's some kind of tasteless thick batter which is disgusting and they refuse to give a refund long story..
I hope STEVE RICHARDS see this and do a deep investigation.
I hope Danielle yes you Danielle who think your untouchable when I said I'm going to make a complaint about you and your attitude YOU SMIRKED SMIRK NOW.

Stayed for 3 nights a few weeks back. Great place, lots to do for kids and adults. Activities were brilliant. Swimming pool was fun and clean. Lovely bar and entertainment room. The amusement area is massive. Also 5 minutes from a stony beach, and maybe 10 minutes from the sand!

Had a slight problem when checking in (got the wrong keys) but was sorted straight away!

Will definitely be returning.
