I was initially contacted by James as he found my CV online, for a temp EA/Team Admin role which I have experience in. I agreed to be put forward for the role as it sounded very promising, was local to where I reside and my skills and experience aligned. He was very nice and professional, but as he wasn’t looking after the role, I had to be passed onto his colleague Jocelyn.

I had a few phone calls with Jocelyn, where she really sold the role, said I would be a great candidate and that I would really love the role, every time we had a phone call. After I realised that suddenly consistent communication from Jocelyn had ceased, I sent a follow up email just to show that I was still very much interested and wanted to know where we were at but unfortunately I never heard back again.

It seems as though recruitment is a very slimy industry and recruiters only care about meeting their targets/making it look like they have a pool of talent for their clients; so they contact any and everyone with the slightest bit of relevant experience, give them false hope and then ignore/ghost them if the client decides not to proceed. It’s rude and unprofessional to not have the decency to simply communicate, whether or not the client wants to move forward with you as a candidate. My experience was very disheartening and simply a waste of time, which they have no empathy for as they only care about themselves.

I would’ve given one star, but I gave an extra star just for James. I do not, however, recommend their services at all.
