Stay away from paradigm-wills at all costs.
My experience with paradigm was disgusting. This firm was taken on by my uncle who was the exceuter of my mum and dad's will. Myself and my brothers and sister were beneficiaries.
My uncle got frustrated on several occasions.
1st thing losing information that had been requested. He sent in various documents and information. When he vented his frustration there excuse was a colleague that is no longer with the firm was looking after this and it has been misplaced. They eventually found the information.
2nd thing, the time scale was ridiculous, when questioned about this they often referred to "we have other clients " and we had to start our case again due to the information sent in being misplaced and the colleague leaving. Even though probate had been granted 2 months prior I still couldn't get any answers to what the hold up was. I was told we are waiting on the directors to sign them. Also directors not in today and directors on holiday this week. Excuse after excuse.
3rd point. When paradigm eventually sent out the final statement it was completely wrong. The exceuter couldn't believe it. He asked them if they had actually read the will.( Why was we telling them there job.)
What are we paying them for?
After ammendments they got it right.
Paradigm sent out email to beneficiaries to send in bank details, we did this. Then they sent out another statement for us to sign. The problem was they misspelled my brothers surname, got mine right Even though it's the same? It's like they were doing it on purpose, anything to drag their heels. After all had signed it still took another month to start making payments. ( we believe that it was so they could earn interest on our money)
It was now 3 months since probate had been granted. 2 months holding on to our money. I rang them to ask if I could have any information on the hold up, I was told the directors are looking over it. Eventually on the 1st of may 1 beneficiary got paid. I got paid out on the 9th of may. They paid 1 beneficiary per day. There is six of us.
The estate was less than 230000 thousand. Pretty small I guess nowadays. Just the house and a little money. Absolutely disgusting behaviour by paradigm wills and legal services. And for the displeasure we were charged £5711.34.
They say they work to a code of practice which outlines best practice, ensuring a high standard and to protect our interests. I didn't see any of this on show. There is a lack of trust around this type of industry, I wounder why. Maybe it's the way they treat clients.
God will judge them.

They breakdown what your wants are and then deliver you what you need for loved ones. The place is near bistro live smack bang in the center of town. Ample of parking available around the area.
