Any experience using Omagh Primary Care has been great so far in the many people I cross paths with in care. This is where you should go if your service needed can come to Omagh.

It’s never over crowded but that could be just down to hospital corridors being so big. The staff I’ve ever had dealt with have been amazing especially endoscopic services. A very big thank you to them with helping to keep me calm a few months back.

Purpose built for larger numbers. Only needs more services to be brought here especially that dealing with Neurology MRI and Vascular services to name just two of the many needed.

They really do a great job caring for you, that’s what we all want who are unwell.

Finally please turn up for appointments or cancel giving someone else a chance to get any service. Just don’t turn up for any appointment, cancel if you don’t need please. This reduces waste and shortens waiting times for us all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Large carparks. Plenty of disabled bays close to hospital. Wheelchairs available in front porch area.
On site cafe for public use and a pharmacy

Youngest broke her pinkie knuckle at school so a hospital visit required. From entry to exit took less than 30 minutes. Barely a sole in the place!

Triaged within 2 minutes of arrival and sent to X-ray. They saw us within 5 minutes and back to triage. Waited 15 minutes and called in for bandages, hand brace and painkillers. Done. Homeward bound with a trip to McD’s for the patient to grab an Oreo McFlurry.

Good car parking facilities. Departments are well sign posted. The main entrance is closed during weekends and bank holidays, for access during these periods follow signage to Urgent Care. Like most hospitals you may have to walk a considerable distance. The reception staff are really helpful and friendly. Whilst waiting there is a coffee shop which you might like to visit. All in all as a visitor I was really impressed.
