I cannot praise highly enough Tom Olden's work on my behalf regarding a lease extension application (under S.42) on the leasehold property I was purchasing in March 2024, and his subsequent negotiations of the premium involved on my behalf with the valuers acting on behalf of the freeholder (First Port) and intermediate landlord.
What should have been a straightforward and timely process was drawn out over a period of a year due to quite unreasonable and unprofessional delays and misinformation (whether intended or not) from First Port and the intermediate landlord, and it is only now that my new extended lease is about to be issued.
Tom showed great commitment and determination in dealing with these problems, finally achieving a very favourable agreed premium late last year, all down to his skills in the face of an uncooperative freeholder. My sincere and very grateful thanks to Tom for his sterling work on my behalf.
