Took my little boy for his first haircut. The lady Jane who did it was lovely however the cut is absolutely awful! She's completely butchered hiss hair! It's not even blended, lots of steps. In it. I am aware he's a baby so I get not the easiest of customers but he barely moved the whole time, was very well behaved. I feel very disappointed as I was recommended the salon by other parents.

I would have put 1 start but because Jane was very friendly I felt as though I should give a star for the friendly staff.

My daughter had her hair washed, curled and partially pin up (no cut, no colour). The curls dropped low quickly and a lot of the pins were visible. As a parent I was shocked re the price of £85 for this service!

I came with hair that I hated and left with hair I loved. Everything was explained to me about what the stylist was going to do and made sure I knew the different effects of different foil placements.
All the staff Made me feel very welcome. The salon looks great as I haven't seen it for a few years. I hadn't booked myself in correctly for what I needed to have done but the stylist went above and beyond to give the the outcome I wanted. Thank you all x

I was nervous about going to the hairdressers as I hadn’t been to one for a year. Upon arrival, Tracie made me feel very welcome. Eden was the stylist that did my hair. Not only is she a lovely lady, she did exactly what I wanted and more. They were also kind enough to send me away with some freebies. All the girls here are amazing. Would recommend. I moved out of the area so haven't used NJUK for years. Revisited again yesterday. When I moved out of the area I tried lots of different salons but struggled to find a salon that offered stylists with the same level of expertise in colour. My hair quickly became over-processed, dry and damaged. As a result, I went back to my natural colour for a year to give my hair time to recover. Yesterday I returned to NJUK for a full restyle and full head of foils. Absolutely over the moon with the results. Danielle you are incredible. Emma, I'm really pleased witb the cut you did too. I went from long brown hair to a choppy blonde highlighted bob in one visit. I took photos of what I was looking for and the results were spot on. When I got home, my partner said I look 10 years younger! Having moved all around the UK and trying lots of salons, nowhere competes with NJUK for colour services. It's reasonably expensive in comparison to most other salons locally, but you absolutely get what you pay for and I feel the final bill represented really good value for money. Thanks Nikki, your team are absolutely amazing. Love the refurb too! Can't wait to come back soon

I don't have Gemma as my stylist, but my goodness how lovely it was to see/hear Gemma at work today, so much so that I had to write a review about her.

A young lady with a autism(?) was in the salon the same time as me, and from the moment the young lady arrived, Gemma was so attentive and patient with her. You could see and hear how comfortable the lady was with Gemma. Gemma's kindness and empathy were evident in every interaction, It was clear she had a genuine connection with the young lady and was interested in what she was saying - she didn't just "oh and ah" her way through the conversation like I've seen so many people do in other places before.

You could tell from the young ladies body language that Gemma made the experience enjoyable for her and made sure NJUK was a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Gemma's understanding towards the lady was exceptional.

Gemma is a credit to the salon and a shining example of how to make a difference in someone's life.
