We used Newtons Solicitors for our first house purchase. While this is renowned as a scary experience for any young couple buying a house, we got lucky and found Eden at Newtons.

Eden was patient with us and took the time to explain every aspect in detail, this helped us feel more at peace with the process and have more time to enjoy it. She was excellent at keeping in touch, even contacting us in evenings and weekends to keep us posted (Not that she should be expected to do this outside of working hours but it made us feel like she really cared). The whole process was carefully and professionally handled, even with a few twists and turns along the way she seemed one step ahead every time!

Eden even went further by sending a congratulations card to us once we had moved in and checked in with us to see how we we're getting on (Plus a few decorating tips ha!)

Overall a lovely process, with no surprise bills at the end, excellent prices and what felt like a bespoke service that really made our first purchase a pleasure!

We would not hesitate to use Newtons & Eden again & cannot thank you enough 🙂

Dan Warwick acted for me in the transfer of a lease between old and new tenants. His communications were prompt and clear. His attention to my interests was assiduous. My only criticism is (and I am perfectly aware that the 'opposing' solicitor is at least as much responsible as Mr Warwick) that rather than approaching the matter with a view to reaching an agreement, there seemed to be a fixation on disagreements. A more compromising approach would have been preferable, especially in terms of the time the process has taken (and cost). However, I can recommend Mr Warwick as a conscientious and industrious solicitor.

Eden responded promptly and (incredibly!) patiently to our many queries, making the conveyancing process as tolerable as it can be. She knew what pitfalls to look out for and is very experienced in the more stressful aspects of purchasing in rural areas, such as absolutely anything to do with septic tanks.
