I used National Motoring Lawyers for a driving charge and I’m really pleased with the outcome – they got the case dropped, which was a massive relief. I have to give special credit to Jay Lemosa, who represented me in court. He was absolutely outstanding – professional, calm, and clearly very experienced. He made a stressful situation much more manageable and handled everything brilliantly on the day.

The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is due to the communication in the lead-up to the court date. At times, I felt I had to chase for updates and wasn’t always kept in the loop as much as I would’ve liked.

That said, I can’t fault the result, and if you’re lucky enough to have Jay representing you, you’ll be in excellent hands. Highly recommended overall.

Useless company, WASTE OF MONEY (A LOT). Not adhere to court timings, paid for them thousands of pounds including widmark report and they not done it and not provided to the court. Promising much but not give you any value. Cost me £1500 at the beginning for "preparation and representation " when on 1st hearing you can go yourself and just said "not guilty". Then please look for proper solicitors not this time and money wasters... waste with them over £5000 and got nothing but driving ban at the end...

Awful.. Avoid this firm and waiting for your response to a complaint.. here is the summary... perhaps a nudge into action!

See below professional standards complaint against your firm including a demand for repayment of your firms’ fees.

1. Never fully advised as to pros/cons strengths and weaknesses of my case

2. Never given any information in regard to PET form, which witnesses were required and which ones free to be read

3. Documents in the case were often blindly forwarded without any narrative, reasoning or obvious purpose as to the requirements, objective or expectations of me in reviewing them

4. It transpires the two main witnesses in establishing malicious information and circumstances of arrest, namely xxxxx and xxxxx, were agreed and read in their entirety

5. I was never given any information prior to the PET form being completed and my instructions were not sought prior to completing of and the agreeing of witnesses

6. Initial advice given was to plead guilty throughout the case, complete U-turn after requesting a second opinion

7. Court was not informed as to change of witness requirements

8. Costs per-hearing deliberately dragged on for financial gain

9. Upon receipt of the expert witness report, NML solicitors blatantly lied to me as to the circumstance and blame for errors. The amended expert witness report clearly contradicts NML false claims and a complaint in this regard remains unanswered

10. After the adjourned trial hearing of 04 November 2024 NML attempted to pressure me into confirming further instructions. Upon indicating that I was considering options and unable to meet their 7-day payment deadline NML attempted to lock me into and sited continuation clauses and then proceeded to bill me almost £10,000 for the additional hearing

11. I was never given any information as to the likely sentence, stunned to learn only on the trial day of 02 July 2025 that the charges and sentencing guidelines include a suspended sentence, community order and three-year driving ban. Until this time I understood only my driving licence was at risk for 12-18 months

12. Knowing that I was dissatisfied with their service, NML held the return of unused disbursement fees as leverage pending execution of a ‘complete client satisfaction’ agreement, essentially blackmailing me into an agreement they knew did not reflect my satisfaction

13. The expert witness was de-warned by NML without my knowledge or instruction leading to us becoming aware the afternoon before trial of 02 July 2025 that the expert witness advising they were unable or unwilling to appear

14. NML issued numerous take down requests to a TrustPilot review of this awful experience with their firm

15. It appears common knowledge the professional standards and reputation of NML are an embarrassing disgrace to the industry, comments echoed by the prosecution and judiciary on the trial of 02 July 2025

16. In retaliation for my TrustPilot review, NML then vindictively went through historic invoices cancelling discounts and issued two separate ‘statute bills’ signed by a Mr Gary Roberts, Principal amounting to £2,820 and then immediately passed this alleged debt to an external debt collection company who proceeded to call, write and harass me. This was clearly intended to cause upset, intimidation and distress

17. Completely dissatisfied with the way case handled by NML and their indefensible actions amounting to negligence and/or deliberate client sabotage

18. Require a refund in full, amounting to £12,034 over 14 payment transactions less £720 returned = £11,314

For the avoidance of doubt I do not care to enter into further litigation or negotiation with your firm.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 5 working days, being the 09 July 2025, then the matter will be referred to the Legal Ombudsman and Solicitors Regulation Authority without further reference to you.

I was accused of drink driving and was facing a minimum two-year driving ban—possibly worse. I spoke to several solicitors, all of whom said the same thing: I had no real chance of avoiding a lengthy ban.

Then I contacted NML, and from the very first conversation, they put me at ease. They told me there was a lot they could do. I didn’t expect a miracle, but I figured I’d rather fight and lose than not try at all.

After over six months of going back and forth to court, NML relentlessly pressured the police and CPS. In the end, the charges were dropped and replaced with a much lesser offence. That meant I avoided a driving ban entirely. I honestly couldn’t believe it.

These guys are incredible. They’re not cheap, but they are absolutely worth every penny.

Please—don’t drink and drive. But if you’ve made a mistake, get the right people behind you. NML changed everything for me.

I recommend using National Motoring Lawyers, they are impeccable and provide the highest standards. From the case working team to the finance accounting team. They were quick to respond to any questions and issues that I had. I was very worried from the beginning of the Court hearing date, but they helped me through the process and provided the perfect support.

I used the barrister Mr Philip Lucas and he was just amazing in court. I can't praise him enough, I was very stressed during my trial. But he calmed me down and ensured everything was OK. My case was dismissed and it was because of Mr Philip Lucas brilliance. How he operated in the court room was masterful.

I contacted this firm in my hour of need BIG MISTAKE. They will know why iam writing this review I cancelled services within 7 days. I made a formal email as advised on the 10th day. Both to accounts / admin both emails got ignored I phoned numerous times and again got told I would get a call back which was hard work. They charged £705 to send around 4 generic emails it came down to me arguing. There was no CPS information available in regards to my case even 15 days after. I advised the firm I've cancelled within 14 days and I shouldn't have to pay the remaining £540. I already payed a deposit of £165 it took me to basically to say no money should be owed. Before I got a proper solution to say I feel robbed. Is an understatement to do this in people's already bad situation is just wrong. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP!!! read everything literally EVERYTHING. Also pay nothing until you understand and absorb EVERYTHING!!!. Especially THE WELCOME PACK 🧐🧐🧐🤐

We charge £705 preparation fee and £630 representation fee per hearing with low initial deposit (£165) which counts towards the preparation fee,

£705 Not a bad days work for 4/5 generic emails!!!. On the 1st day of contact which secures there above payable feels.
