As an estate agent who has worked with many solicitors, I can wholeheartedly say that Kate is the best I have ever worked with. She has helped numerous clients successfully complete their house purchases/sales and always goes the extra mile. She is a great communicator and an even better solicitor.

I was recommended to this firm by the selling agents for a property I purchased in Cornwall. I was assigned to Mark Buswell who was , rude, slow, and difficult to deal with. He even had the cheek to tell me that he would not treat me like I had a silver spoon in my mouth.

The transaction took approximately 2 months longer than it should have,, working to a deadline and around him that nearly cost me my property.

They charged me more money than originally quoted for a sub-standard service. I also felt like I did some of his work for him as well.

I complained about him to their supposedly Manager. The complaint was made last May 2021. I’ve given her 14 months to come back to me and still no response.

You can get better conveyancing lawyers for a lot cheaper and a far better service. I know this as I have purchased a further 4 properties since dealing with them.

I would avoid this firm if possible.

I have been involved in the purchase of several houses, but have never had better service than that provided by Kate Holland. She is exemplary; I particularly appreciated some supportive advice towards the end of the (somewhat tiresome) transaction. I had complete trust in her and would recommend her wholeheartedly.

We purchased our home with Nalders Solicitors, Falmouth. Although the process as with most house moves was not without its issues, out of Nalders Solicitors and our control I must add, I can honestly say I would definitely use and recommend Mark Buswell and his amazing team again. They are thorough and informative. I loved the updates and I didn't feel the need to chase them to keep things moving. They work closely with the estate agent and mortgage broker and keep regular contact with the other vendors solicitors, which helped towards a smooth process. I found all the team but especially Mark and Tanya, very friendly and polite and if there was a question they could not immediately answer they would always get back to me the same day. Overall they made an otherwise daunting and stressful experience, very pleasant. Thank you Nalders Solicitors, Falmouth.

Honestly a shocking service and level of care or consideration. Plainly rude. It had been almost two to three weeks silence and no communication. Emails go unanswered or replied to with "we are still working on it". We understand that things take time and there is a lot of things to do. But even when phonecalls are answered by people who say that they at a different stage to what someone else said in the company should be embarrassing. Dont lie to your clients. That should be rule No.1.

And when a client asks for something via eMail, answer with an email. I feel like this practice doesnt want to communicate via ema because they dont want to take accountability for the things they say.

It may not be my name associated with the case I am talking about but it certainly is concerning us and if it wasn't for the lies, ignorance and unprofessional code of practice we would just simply not use you again. But i think its important to let everyone know NOT to use this practice.

Excuses" "Oh its a busy time" that is not the client's fault, the professional solution would be to turn potentially new clients down to manage workload.

Disgraced.

My wife died recently and I found it difficult to think rationally at the time for obvious reasons. There was a Nalders solicitors office directly opposite my usual Falmouth car park so I made an appointment to see them about administering my late wife's will. The will itself was very simple and uncomplicated with myself being the sole beneficiary.
The amount to be transferred to me being in the region of £60,000
originating from two UK based finance companies. Nalders quoted the sum of £7,200 including VAT and with possible extra charges should there be any complications. A friend of mine told me that most solicitors would have charged in the region of £1,500 to deal with the matter but I could do it myself for around £400. I have taken the DIY route, its not difficult and £400 will cover all the charges nicely.
I informed Nalders of my decision four days after my appointment
with them and they kindly returned the documents to me at a charge of £220. It is my opinion that Nalders Solicitors of Falmouth consider
their clients (and potential clients) as cash machines and nothing else.
I would be very, very wary before even phoning them as I would not be surprised if it was a premium rate phone number.

Had an awful experience buying a house due to Nalders acting as the conveyancers for the seller. We were actually signed up to use them on the advice of the estate agents to use their 'in house' conveyancers. We waited a week for them to send us a welcome pack and after it not turning up I contacted their office and was told they had no record of me but would send a welcome pack that day; Another week passed and I started to worry so looked them up on a solicitor info review site and saw the dreadful experiences that other people had had with them so decided to jump ship. Curiously the reviews on that website have all been removed, I'm guessing by request from Nalders. There were some positive 5 star reviews on there but they had been openly written by Nalders themselves.

Throughout the purchase of our house we experienced too many cock ups by Nalders to mention, some of them extremely basic and some huge and had it not been for our own diligence and persistence then the sale would have fallen through. I know if I ever buy a house in Cornwall again that I will insist that the seller uses any firm other than Nalders. I dread to think what would have happened had Nalders represented us as well as the seller but strongly suspect that a lot of things would have been swept under the carpet and we would now be living in a house without planning permission.
