Firstly the name says it all. It should be more like "My Law doesn't give a damn"
I came across these clowns, because they were employed by our seller. The seller as been in floods of tears for the last few weeks and she has not stopped apologising for employing these people. We agreed the purchase of the property at the end of March. The agent and solicitor working with us said there were no problems and the process would take 3/4 months. Then My Law joined the fray. They did not reply to emails. When the seller or solicitor telephoned they either didn't answer the phone or the necessary person was unavailable. Also our solicitor complained on numerous occasions that the documentation they received from My Law was never checked properly. They also on one occasion refused to pass on to their customer (our seller) a suggestion made by our solicitor to speed things up. Finally everything was so excruciatingly slow whenever they were involved. Basically they delayed our move by approximately 2 months. We survived My Law Matters, I would suggest you do not get involved with them in the first place to avoid the stress.

My Law Matters are without doubt the slowest, most unprofessional and least responsive solicitors I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. They were acting for my buyer and their incompetence has jeopardised the entire chain.

They sat on the contract pack for weeks without raising basic enquiries.

They gave contradictory and misleading updates about when searches had been received.

They repeatedly missed their own deadlines and had to be chased constantly by my solicitor and estate agent. Even then, they often ignored emails and phone calls.

Their Head of Department wouldn’t even acknowledge escalation emails – the lack of accountability is staggering.

Their delays have directly caused my mortgage offer to expire, leaving me with the stress and cost of reapplying unnecessarily.

It is completely unacceptable for a law firm to operate like this. They have shown zero urgency, zero care for the clients involved, and absolutely no professionalism.

If you value your time, money and sanity – do not use My Law Matters for conveyancing. There are plenty of competent firms out there, and this is not one of them.

Fentiman’s in knowle Used to be an amazing law company.
Now: “ My Law Matters”
We have tried for nearly 2 years to get our deeds
Impossible. We’ve even asked another solicitor to try! Once again impossible. It’s shameful. and extremely stressful especially when they tell you they have been disposed of deeds they were supposed to look after ( depending who you speak to) even though they contain share certificates. . Especially stressful for my aged mother.
Extremely worrying when we have POE and Wills with them. I’ve never come across such shambolic mess. They ignore every email and every phone call.

From Sonia. Selina. Dalvinder and Rohan. They have been amazing. Communication on point. Detailed and followed through with everything. Can't thank them for working late and making sure everything was completed to a brilliant standard.

I see the other reviews but my journey has been excellent. Thank you

AVOID AT ALL COST!
I read the bad reviews, but unfortunately I thought it wouldn't happen to me, it took the company 3 months only to tell me that they cannot manage the work load and have dropped my case, 3 months of being strung along cost me the purchase of my property. They also tried to refund me less than I initially paid after all of that for an "admin fee" this firm is so unorganised and cheeky that you just have to find it funny at this point. There's plenty of other firms with good reviews you should use instead I went with this one as it was a referral from my mortgage broker. Just take the time do the research and find a company with better reviews.

I had a highly disappointing experience with My Law Matters during my property purchase. Despite being promised clear timelines, my transaction was significantly delayed, with little to no proactive updates. I had to chase them repeatedly for responses, often receiving vague, unhelpful replies. Even after all enquiries were resolved, they failed to progress my purchase for weeks, causing unnecessary stress and frustration.

Basic tasks like handling fixtures and fittings requests were mismanaged, and their overall lack of urgency made the process much more difficult than it needed to be. Their customer service was poor, and they did not take accountability when I raised a formal complaint.

I would not recommend My Law Matters if you value efficiency, communication, and professionalism. Avoid if you want a smooth conveyancing process!

My Law Matters, Salop St, Wolverhampton / associated to Fentimans are useless.

Dealt with them twice where Sonia + team were OK but throughout, getting anyone to answer the phone was near impossible. I would offer 4 stars to her for her commitment so that's why I went back.

On 2nd occasion got Katib Basharat.
NEVER answers any of the 3 phone lines advertised for this firm. NEVER returns calls, NEVER returns emails. Ignores requests for call back or message back - drives you mad with stress. On the occasion I did get through he was rude, obnoxious, threatening (not at all professional)

I would never again use them again - AVOID

My flight delay claim was setrled by this company with no knowledge.

This company got compensation in September. They didn't contact me for a month nor did I receive any email from this company about any communication ever since they filed a claim including claim number.

It is only when I chased the flight company they said they already settled with this company and have no obligation towards my refund in any way.

When I enquired with a staff they said they sent multiple emails but I didn't receive a single communication, when I asked to refund the money to flight company so that I will get my money back they are saying we have done a work and can't refund money. Now they are not responding to my calls.

I doubt company's intentions. Moreover they are deducting 42% from my eligible compensation leaving me with peanuts. What kind of operations this company is into?
