MP Estate Planning recently provided our family with a full suite of estate planning services, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts. They took time to fully understand our family position and particular features, enabling them to provide us with recommendations that were tailored to our needs. Throughout the process they were very helpful and took pains to ensure we had a clear understanding of the strategy eventually recommended. Once we accepted the recommendations, they speedily and efficiently put in place the framework documents, working closely with us all times to ensure a smooth process. Communications were excellent at all stages, with a series of online face-to-face meetings to report on progress and provide information and explanations where necessary. The staff we engaged directly with, Mike Pugh and Melba Garner, were consistently helpful and supportive at every step. Nothing was too much trouble and we have been very grateful for their patience in taking us through the specialised processes. The entire matter was completed in a matter of weeks, and we remain very satisfied with the levels of professionalism and service delivered by MP Estate Planning. I have been thinking about securing my kid's future after I am gone. When I looked at what my kids will have to pay in inheritance tax , that had me worried as I worked and still working hard. When I started doing my research, that's when I found Mike and straightaway I made an appointment. After the meeting I found myself reassured that my kids will not suffer if and when I'm gone. Mike was very thorough with every single details and has immense knowledge. All my questions were answered from every perspective legally/technically. Mike showed me the software he has developed to workout the taxes and other charges, it was really easy to understand where I stood .if you are thinking about setting up trust fund , once you have met Mike you would not go anywhere else. In life, owning a property is the single most tangible asset to which ordinary people can aspire, and how to protect it for the next generation is a highly emotive issue. A Will and Enduring Power of Attorney, which indicate the wishes of an individual, and lays down the preferred distribution of possessions, can only go so far to protect and control who may have a claim against assets; whereas setting up and registering a Trust can ensure extra security and peace of mind. In researching this option, we discovered the setting up of a Trust is not merely for wealthy landowners or portfolio-holders, it is a means by which anyone can secure their home, in its entirety, for their descendants. But what do ordinary people know about Trusts and what advice is available? Via the internet, we were fortunate to find several highly informative videos by Mike Pugh of MP Estate Planning and, after much deliberation, made contact. We had lots of questions, many of which were answered before we could begin to formulate them. The courteous, meticulous attention we received was reassuring, nothing was too much trouble, the complexities of how to set up a Trust were demystified. Understandably, there was legal information to interpret but every requirement, each clause, was painstakingly explained by Mike Pugh and his knowledgeable, professional staff at MP Estate Planning. We were guided every step of the way, by telephone, in writing and via zoom. Setting up a Trust through MP Estate Planning was a fascinating and stimulating experience; doing so has lifted an intolerable burden from our shoulders.
