Very pleased with the service from Mounteney during recent flat sale. Although not the cheapest, their price was competitive with no hidden surprises, and they performed all the necessaries quickly and professionally, whilst maintaining excellent personal interaction and communication at all times. I gave their Ian McKenna a tight deadline for completion, more in hope than expectation, but he duly delivered, working hard and keeping me informed right up to the last minute. Mortgage offer has been sent end of Sept, has been told that preparing the report but still not ready until now. Emailed many times and only got one or two replies, have to call every week for updates, progress is slow, also been told that the deal can been done before end of Oct. No update on Oct 28 and called again and said still preparing the report. Again, promised that the report will be ready Nov 1 but the person handling is off. Have been chased many times by the seller side and hopefully they are still willing to sell. Hope it help and read the review before you choose your conveyancers

Offer was accepted by seller in July.Seller is using these solicitors. They are soo slow at paper work.My solicitor and estate agent had to keep contacting them to receive the contract pack which they sent after 10 days. After that they haven't even applied for their searches for the seller and now in October and still waiting.The seller keeps going to them and they keep saying they still waiting when really they applied for everything late.and now still waiting.Did advise seller to change to ours who had searches done in August but because walking distance was easy for them to go to them.But they regret is well using them.So still here waiting in October.
