Avoid at all costs!

Neil is a particularly great salesman, I will give him that but an absolutely useless solicitor.

I was recently convicted for a drug driving offence this year which I was arrested for back in 2023. I had used cocaine 4/5 days! prior to the offence and was completely under the impression that I was innocent and my blood levels had been incorrectly sampled.

Almost everything that Neil said would likely happen in regards to the case…. Did not.

A fixed fee was agreed upon and included my initial court appearance, an interim hearing and representation at my trial by one of Neil’s senior barristers. It also included a medical report from an expert witness (further on that down the line)

The barrister at the initial court appearance was a trainee and was completely picked apart by the judge. I am a confident person and can honestly say I would have represented myself in a far more collected manor. She crumbled at every question like a child, which she was. After some research I believe her laws firm charges £200-300 for her representation of me there was an interim hearing which the barrister Neil instructed didn’t even bother shower up to or tried joking last minute by video call which was clearly stated as unacceptable prior to the hearing. Again, another junior barristers, not worth a penny.

Cps were very slow on providing the sfr2 document that we needed for our expert to do his report. They provided this in early December 2024 Neil took until the end of January 2025 to respond. Unacceptable as my trial date was in February. I found out that in court his excuse for this was someone leaving his law firm (can’t blame them). The judge found this laughable.

The senior barristers I had representing me at trial was lovely. Nick. In no way a senior barrister though. I had a good chat with Nick as Neil told me my representation at trial would be costing him £3000.00 plus vat

Me and Nick had a nice little chat because he was a lovely genuine man that felt sorry for me and he couldn’t tell me the exact figure he charged but in his own words said that I had been taken to so town so to speak. If this is true or not is not down to me to say but his comments filled me with dis confidence Extremely upsetting to hear! Take what you will from that.

Nick asked why we hadn’t had and expert report done as it was the only benefiting factor to our case. We had not had this done because of missing information on the sfr2…Neil is the only person that has this opinion there is missing information.

I have paid for a service. A highly expensive supposedly high quality service that I did not receive .

My fee was £10,800.00

I was charged an additional £550.00 on top of this for an additional hearing which was Neil’s or chambers fault.

I was originally told that the expert witness report would cost £1500.00 At the end of all this, I was told it actually it’s only £500.00….. Pretty convenient. Haven’t even had that returned to me though, even though I’ve paid for something and haven’t received.

I have been misled and I just hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. This company is far from professional and it is my hope that no one else gets involved with them!

The lies or miscommunication throughout the whole process were soul destroying

Not even offered the money back for the expert witness report that Never got done.

I contacted Neil as soon as I had found out I was to be charged with ‘drug driving’ to say I was a complete mess is an understatement!
From first contact to today (trial date) both Neil, Richard and the team have kept me completely in loop making sure I have been informed every step of the way along with calming my nerves! Even today with me thinking the worst and no doubt dragging on the case with forensic specialists Richard secured full dropped charges against me. Having been stopped and arrested for failing to provide a specimen, my life had literally been filled with worry And facing a minimum of a three year ban.

I found MDS on google due to a recent driving offences.
From initial phone call the professionalism and time given was excellent. I was quickly able to understand my position and benefit of using MDS. Communication though out was excellent.
Neil always got back to me and advised me clearly.
I was clear of my duties and expectations to present a good case.
On the day my barrister was excellent.
The ultimate outcome at court really was the best i could have asked for and I avoided and Totting up ban and points on my license. I did receive a penalty and a small suspension however this was my expectation and the result i wanted.
