They took the time to understand my financial situation and goals, and they provided tailored advice that has significantly impacted my financial health.

Their attention to detail is truly commendable. I have always felt confident knowing that my accounts are managed with the utmost precision. Not only did my accountant (Hasrat ) do my taxes promptly, but he also got me a refund!! More than accountants are always available to answer questions and respond quickly, making what could be a stressful process quite manageable.

After a bit of a rocky start with this accountants, they now deal with all 4 of my active companies. And, the major contributing factor in this is the excellent care and attention that I receive from Arshiya.

I actually insisted that she be kept as my main point of contact in my dealings with More than Accountants and I feel extremely looked after.

On another note, their unlimited package is quite expensive, but in my eyes it's worth it as they handle everything, meaning I don't have to worry about anything. Plus, I know if I need anything in the interim it's simply covered in the fees already without needing to fork out extra here and there.

Avoid at All Costs – Incompetence, Overcharging, and Zero Accountability

If I could give MTA Accountants zero stars, I would. They are, without a doubt, the worst accountants I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Their incompetence has caused me financial losses, stress, and ultimately contributed to the liquidation of my company.

Key Issues:

Shocking Errors in Tax and Financial Reporting – They failed to calculate my Director’s Loan Account (DLA) properly, overlooked crucial business expenses, and even mixed up personal and business accounts. I had to correct them at every turn. Worse still, they informed me I had a £20,303 Corporation Tax bill when my new accountant has confirmed I should actually be due a refund. This level of inaccuracy is inexcusable.

Overcharging for Basic Services – They attempted to charge me £1,200 for account reconciliation, which I got done elsewhere for £100. A blatant attempt to extract more money from clients.

Evasive, Unhelpful, and Robotic Communication – When questioned on their errors, their go-to tactic was to ignore difficult questions. They even had the audacity to refer me back to the very accountant I was complaining about!

Constant Staff Changes & Offshore Confusion – My "accountant" was changed within weeks of signing up. The actual accounting work was done in Lahore, leading to frequent misunderstandings, cultural barriers, and miscommunication.

Automated Nonsense & Zero Support – Their customer service is robotic, relying on non-relevant automated reminders rather than actual help. Instead of fixing problems, they deflect blame and refuse to take responsibility.

Serious Consequences – Their incompetence has caused me stress, financial losses, and played a role in my company’s closure. The mental strain they have caused is unforgivable.

Anyone considering MTA Accountants should read all the negative reviews—they tell a clear and consistent story. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this firm.
