Awful company, chasing me to pay my arrears of "my o2 phone contract" which I've never had. And I've now got to make the necessary phone calls to sort it out with o2. Why can't they do it? Why are they chasing payments from people before they actually know if they are bogus or not. I won't be paying a penny to this corrupt joke of a company. The only positive I have of the place is that Andrea is very helpful and polite.

Received a letter saying i owe them because i’d not paid a PayPal debt of £53 and was chasing the debt. Logged in to my PayPal and wasn’t aware my card had expired (I don’t use PayPal often) updated my card through PayPal so no issue? Seems like an aggressive approach when it was a simple error! Can’t even email them without entering all your details! Seem like a scam try all you like kind of company! Even their responses to other reviews just ask you to log in with your contact details 🤦‍♂️🤣

Had a few interactions with this company lately and felt it fair that I should review them.

First of all, their website is very poor, especially when accessed via a mobile phone. It's sluggish, buggy, and impossible to use if you're trying to use it for a reason of changing a payment arrangement. It won't work for that purpose.
Additionally the live chat function doesn't serve a real purpose either, i have never been able to chat with an agent. Both of these things have taken up a considerable amount of my time and both I have no evidence of should matters be taken further by moorcroft. And that's a shame, because I tried on multiple occasions to rectify my situation doing these things and I wasn't able to resolve.

I, personally don't speak on the phone too well. So I was trying to find a resolve without having to dial their number. An email response to their email bounced straight back to me too. I don't see a working email address for them.

They communicate via email with letters that have a password attached to them. I find this frustrating as I cant open their communications via my phone too. (See where I am going with this frustration.... it's basically extremely difficult to communicate any other way other than by phone).

I think I have finally managed to adjust a payment arrangement. Although I am still not 100% sure. My attempts have been going on for a full week, having never missed a payment, i just hope my account is in correct working order.
If it's not, I may be too sick soon to be able to communicate and if that is so, that's a sad situation considering the time I've spent trying to rectify.

I guess time will tell.

After telling them to phone the company that I allegedly owe money to (the company have told me I don't owe anything btw), I'm still getting letters threatening legal action. I have told them to phone the company and they obviously haven't. I'm not paying a debt I don't owe. I know that they will just send a blanket response of 'please call us to discuss' but I've already done that and they clearly didn't hear a word of it.

What a bunch of twunty numpties.

Sent us a letter about a debt (which is in dispute - you can't charge for a service that hasn't been provided). Contacted Moorcroft stating the fact. Advised any debt recovery is fraudulent as the client they are acting on has stated they are unable to confirm the service being billed has actually been delivered.

Advised any communication is chargeable but proceed to continue to communicate.

Also not very clever. If you threaten putting a report on my credit score then check first is you're not acting for a bank - no credit has been requested.

If you're going to threaten taking belongings - go to court first. I've said I'm more than happy to attend but oddly you don't want to!

Another company that's proof of back handers and corruption for remaining in business despite acting outside of the law.

The website is not working properly- every time I try to set up a recurring payment I get an error message. I don’t want to have to call anyone- I just want to make my payment online. Why do you offer such option on your website if it never works?

This company keeps ringing me asking for someone that has nothing to do with me or my company. I keep saying they are not here, but they continue to bombard me with robot calls, demanding I contact them. I am NOT the company they are seeking. They are faceless leeches who prey on people who have problems and illegally harass them. They are harassing me for something that I have nothing to do with. I called their office but there system refuses to put me through unless I give my name, date of birth and address. They are having a laugh! Why would I give them my details when I owe the nothing? Absolute filth of a company.

They keep cold calling me and sending me emails and messages despite me asking me not to. I called them to ask them to take me off their mailing lists and, after some considerable time on a phone queue, they finally answered and then put me through to a 'department' which was a customer experience survey which then hung up on me. A quality operation!!! Probably time for me to report them to the police for spam mailing and harassment I guess.

AFTER THE RESPONSE:
I have already tried to call them on the phone number several times - it rang for ages, I got told I was being put through to a different department and then they hung up. Amazing! There is no obvious way to get them to stop mailing me from the website. So perhaps rather than giving me pointless platitudes and unhelpful suggestions, maybe you should TAKE ME OFF YOUR MAILING LIST AND STOP MESSAGING ME ALL THE TIME?!?! I'll be reporting this company to the police shortly.
