I had MJ services around for a boiler service, during which they found a fault which was covered by the boiler warranty. They arranged for Bosch to come and fit the replacement, all free of charge, and then returned to test it all. I'm very happy with the service they provide, and thoroughly recommend them. Great prices too.

The whole point of reviewing something is to give your honest opinion of a service or product. The whole of this review is correct and not fabricated.
I was told I needed a new thermostat and system flush. When I went in to arrange Roxanne told me the other girl would deal with me. Fair enough. I was told that someone would come out at 9am Tuesday. At 9:25 I was just locking up to go to work and a lovely guy arrived. Apparently he is only doing the thermostat and not the flush. He's an electrician and I would then need the gas engineer. I was not told this.
I have just called into their office to ask about when the other part of the job is being done and stated I had left the electrician there because I needed to get to work and he was half hour late. She then spoke to me like I was an idiot and said I was told a one hour time slot. THIS IS NOT TRUE and after her unprofessional way of talking, no, shouting me down, I told her where to get off and I would arrange for someone else to do the job. The woman is vile! Every bad report about her is true including giving her own business a 5* review! Happily going elsewhere and would never recommend. Shame, because that poor girl in there with her is very nice and so are the guys.
For the record, this is indeed not my house but it is my home and I do have input as to who is or can be used to do work. My opinion of someone is my opinion and I will voice it, my review! Let's face it, look at all the other reviews. I am not the only one!!!!

I would like to give my honest opinion about the experience I had with there services. I found it unusual to have to pay for work before it had been done and you shouldn't have to pay upfront. I was given a quote and had to pay 60 pounds first for being a new customer and when they came out which I thought I was getting the work done but no you then get a quote. I was told the time was put down for 5 hours .he was only there for 2 hours 40 minutes so I rang for a refund on the time and there was no refund. So I feel very conned and will not use there services again.

Very happy with my new boiler install.
Staff very polite and helpful all the way through the journey from initial contact to end of process.
Took the 2 days they stated with minimal disruption, and left property clean and tidy after the team had finished

I don’t like to leave negative comments but overall a disappointing experience from MJ Services, I arranged a oil boiler service for a workable boiler and during them booking over the phone the customer service was great as they arranged for an engineer to come the same week, the engineer arrived on time but said he was unable to service the boiler due to it needing new parts and that it would cost approx £500, Iater that day the company called me and I paid the £500 to order the parts, the parts came a week after and then another engineer came to fit them, after the engineer fitted the parts he explained that it needs another part which would cost an extra £400, and recommended it’s best to get a new boiler, he fitted the original parts and left with the boiler in working order the same day the boiler stopped working, I’m disappointed in the service and dissatisfied that the 1st was engineer did not recommended a new boiler at the start and did not see that it needed another part which the 2nd engineer highlighted, this means I have now spent £500 on a boiler that does not work that money could of gone on a new boiler. I just wanted to highlight this so that in future customers are given better advice prior to incurring further costs.

I called this company and told them that my central heating would not come on. They asked for payment upfront of £60 which I paid on the phone.
I explained that my heating was a Baxi boiler operated by a hive hub and that I wasn't sure why it wouldn't come on . When the "engineer" arrived he told us that it was a problem with the boiler and that he wasn't qualified to look at it, we needed a gas engineer which would be another call out next week, and another charge!! Was I wrong to assume that they would send a gas engineer to look at a gas heating problem.
I feel that I have been conned and would recommend that you dont trust this company, or their booking service and after care.
