Rajea Sultana was assigned to my case as my solicitor during the beginning of 2024, as I was facing eviction proceedings from my housing association. She said once. Met a few adjustments every will be fine and she kept her word. I appreciate the hard work she put in as I will definitely recommend her to another person if given the chance. Thanks miles & partners for providing me a good solicitor.

Rajea was recommended to me and I can see why, because she was very personable and knowledgeable about the case at hand. Despite taking the case on when there were tight deadlines to be met, she was efficient and kept to all deadlines. She was very supportive and even though the end result was positive, throughout the process she gave good advice to prepare for all possible outcomes.

Rajea was my housing solicitor and I honestly can’t thank her enough. She helped me so much with my housing issue and even encouraged me to not give up. She is very supportive and compassionate. I have already recommended her to people and will always do. She is superb at her job. Also Kate is good and very helpful she was always communicating with me and Biggs had never ignored me when I needed to speak to them

I can’t recommend them enough. Rajea Sultana is so professional at what she does. I had a very stressful issue with housing not accepting me on the bidding due to homelessness and fleeing dv. But she was so helpful, she listens to your concerns and is very passionate about helping people. Rajea supported me and my son throughout the whole process from emails to the housing officer and advising me on other documents I would need for my housing case. Just in 2/3 weeks I was accepted for housing and received my bidding number thanks to Rajea.

Miles & Partners another major legal firm joining the ranks of the other big players who claim to offer Community care help but when approached fail to offer any help or hope at all and never provide a reason why other than "CAPACITY REACHED". I have been trying to get a legal firm to accept my case against Westminster Adult Social Care. Legal aid or a payment plan would be amazing but you do not even get the opportunity to discuss becoming a private client with an experienced lawyer and to explore funding options and to pay for at least getting initial advice. At least Miles & Partners offer the courtesy of providing email addresses for individuals within the company. Initially I made an online web enquiry and received a response for Ms.Savannah Chan on the 12/4/2024 with the usual gramophone recording "Currently we do not have capacity to advise you, however I have listed some firms below who may be able to take on your case. As this is the standard response from all of the firms, I decided to approach one of the partners, Mr Floyd Porter on the 21/4/2024 and again on the 13/6/2024. After receiving no response I tried Mr Jasper Blumenthal, who is one of the specialist solicitors in community care. This email was sent on the 20/6/2024 and again no response. The reason for my persistence is because I'm desperate to try and get justice. Up until the age of 67 I was a fully independent man then I woke from a coma paralysed. It's a complicated background but my life is now spent bed bound with limited capacity to mobilise. These gentleman have absolutely no obligation to respond but given that I have made every effort to help myself and followed the protocol of complaints only to be dismissed by the council and the ombudsman I am at a loss to understand how a man can lose his independence only to discover that there is nothing within the health care system to provide hope for rehabilitation. In relation to the care act there have been definite breeches of duty but only an experienced lawyer can help with this. Yet it seems that going from independent to relying on carers means nothing. The physical incapacity is compounded by the mental anguish of losing everything in your life that meant so much. Westminster adult social care only offer a "REABLEMENT" plan which is a "SHORT TERM" intervention and completely unsuitable for someone who was found to be "COMPLETELY IMMOBILE". Miles & Partners are like all the other major legal firms who refuse to help, yet still make bold claims on their web sites. I can only conclude that my criticisms of how these legal firms operate end up on a list, something that's usually referred as a 'Black List'. I have no proof but something really stinks between what you read on the web pages and the nauseating responses that are guaranteed. "Capacity Reached" or "Contact The Law Society". Today was another one of those rejections. What seemed like a positive phone call last Thursday from Edwards Duthie Shamash where it was mentioned "We have limited capacity" ended with an email dated 1/7/2024 stating "Unfortunately our Solicitors do not have capacity to assist you at this time". How stupid of me to have a glimmer of hope.
NONE OF THE FIRMS NEVER HAVE CAPACITY AT ANY TIME.

Rajea was very helped me with my housing case. She came and saw me in hospital while I was staying with my son and took the case on. She wrote to the council and I was offered alternative suitable accommodation in my preferred location. Thank you great job!
