They dealt with the conveyancing for me on a house and I purposely chose a local solicitor over a national solicitor and I'm glad I did. It was a complicated purchase and their knowledge and detail were excellent. So to their communication, no switchboards and waiting times, you could always speak to someone when you wanted to. All in all, it was dealt with very quickly and professionally so would happily recommend.

Picture this. You contact a plumbing company to ask for advice, which you make clear you are willing to pay for, after all, you're dealing with professionals. The receptionist at the company says they will "email the plumbers at the firm and see if anyone is able to take on your problem". Over a month later and after zero response, would you recommend that plumbing company? Of course not. Now replace the words plumbing/plumbers with the word solicitor.
