Shocking service - apparently have went into administration leave me and probably thousands of others with court proceedings that must seek another lawyer for or I face hefty defence and court fees . People need to be warned about this as it’s clearly a scam company. If I knew who was behind this mob I’d seek legal action on them. My case is still live apparently and no idea what is happening

Unreliable, unprofessional, incompetent and untrustworthy firm. Do not use them if you would like your case to be dealt with. Make all the right noises at the beginning but once you have signed a contract they disappear.

Me and my wife and kids had to put up with bad damp and mold for two years and the council would not do the work and till I tried mc Dermott smith law they got the council to do the work thank you for your help just an update to everyone that is having the same problems if you put a claim in with dermott smith to help tell the council to communicate with your your solicitor and don’t let them carry out the work, unless your solicitor said so because the council will say they did the work because they don’t want to pay out and when they do the work get pictures off everything they do as they never do the jobs properly
And damage to stuff on your property and don’t like paying for the damage they did so keep pictures at all times I have to do a lot off the work myself because plastered my plug socket behind the wall and said we didn’t have no plug sockets left the scaffolding tower up for nearly 4 months in a hurricane wind they lifted a scaffolding tower up, and it fell over onto the roof and damaged my guttering and never fixed it or pay for damages but just keep pictures as your back up and all way let your solicitors know if you fill they are not doing the job properly

Absolutely terrible, awful company. Scam, scam, scam. PCP claim which I was completely unsure about as the guy was so pushy. Ended up being reassured in to it. 2 years down the line barely heard a word. Ring them and get no call back. They sent me an email a few weeks ago which was only by chance u came across it. They could no longer proceed with my claim and they needed to pass to another solicitor where my insurance won't be moved across, they needed me to sign within 7 days to give them permission to move over. Called them and the guy that wrote the letter had left. Spoke to someone else who told me if I don't sign to move it to another solicitor I owe £4300! Yet they are the ones breaking contract by not proceeding because they don't have enough staff or evidence to win the claim! I went to read reviews and saw some poor lady signed to be moved over to another solicitor like they try and push you in to and she was then smacked with a massive bill because she had broken the contract by moving to another solicitor. In the current climate we are in this is absolutely disgraceful and disgusting service. This is being looked at legally and I would advise NO ONE to trust this company

2 years regarding a PCP claim. Changed hands numerous times, now telling me I have to go to court with them. I have no idea what’s going on, threatened to charge me for the ‘work’ they have done. Very pressuring lady called Sarah basically telling me I have to go to court or I will be liable even though I have told her I didn’t want to due to anxiety. Sent me a legal letter that I needed to read through in regards to the claim. Like I am supposed to understand Al of the legal jargon.
Awful. Not worth it. It’s making me feel so stressed and uneasy. I will also be contacting the local mp and citizens advice.

Avoid like the plague.
Been doing a motor finance claim for my partner for the last 12 months. Claim initially was for over £8000. Last we heard off them it's changed to just over a thousand pounds. No communication.
Next move is contact the ombudsman.

Worst company ever!
I asked so many times what was happening with my claim, and they always had the same answer. Wait, for the last 18 months, while my friend made the same claim with another company, and everything was sorted in 6 months.
Service customers soo rude!!!
I believe they won the claim and want to hide this to don't share the money!
Avoid them, for sure you can find another competent company!

Absolutely disheartened. If u win they take 50%!!! Only place I’ve had experience with it that has taken so much for doing so little. The terms they made with the housing association without my knowledge has left my three autistic children in danger! Do not use them for housing disrepair!
