Very unprofessional letting agency. Over our 1 year tenancy members of staff, particularly Sharon Walker, were persistently rude to tenants via email over issues raised.

We were charged a very large amount in deposit deductions which, due to the company’s refusal to engage in any form of discussion around these issues, we felt obliged to escalate to the Deposit Protection Service. An independent adjudicator identified that Martin and Co had greatly overcharged us for deductions, and as such we were only deducted a fraction of what had been initially requested.

This company has acted in an unprofessional manner throughout our entire tenancy period and we feel that we were taken advantage of. I will never rent from this company again, and I wish I had acted with much greater caution when initially selecting them as our letting agency.
