Great shop. Very spacious. They had sold out of our favourite wine though and we will have to wait 3.... Yes, 3 WEEKS for some more to come in!!! They have promised to phone as soon as it arrives. We'll see 😊..

Always a pleasure to shop here for our wine. Very friendly staff. All keen to help and knowledgeable. Can't fault the staff. Also book wine and hire of glasses for promotional events we hold during the year. Always delivered on time, although I do think Majestic could re-think their presentation of these which come in their original scruffy boxes which are sometimes falling apart and often need a wash before use.

Very disappointing.

My parter and 2 friends came back from your store feeling very humiliated.

As soon as they entered they felt targeted. Being instantly asked what they were after. They were then followed around the store by a colleague. My partner finally showed a picture of the wine he was after to a colleague . It was admittedly a cheap wine but he could not find it anywhere and it was a relatives favourite wine . So he thought he would give this store a go.

One of your colleagues then said something along the lines of “I don’t think we sell anything as cheap as what you’re looking for” “you don’t look like you can afford the wine here” etc. Among many other condescending comments. He was only after his mums favourite wine , not “a wine to get you drunk cheap” in your collages words .

Overall this colleague was very condescending, rude and disrespectful. Following them all around , constantly making comments and judging them based on age / looks etc .

They are all socially awkward and this experience was not pleasant for any of them.

I hope this feedback helps the certain colleague understand that how they acted was unacceptable and this made their first visit a very unpleasant one . Therefore they will unlikely visit again

The entire staff at the shop currently are a first class advert for Majestic. The only downside is the shortage of whisky and ognac or armagnac on taste or sale. This is not their fault. There are lots of gins and wines on taste.
