Macmillan's Solicitors have been absolutely excellent from start to finish in a sale & purchase of a house, Louise Smith & her secretary Debbie Harris have been so supportive all the way as doing this for the first time & on my own, such a scary prospect but they took me step by step throughout & a pleasure to talk to & email & always offered the extra support if I didn't understand a particular piece of paperwork. I was referred to Gemma Callaway to resolve a tenancy issue. Her advice via email was detailed, and the phone call to follow up on the points she'd made was hugely helpful, plus as it took her less than 30 mins it was free. Could not recommend highly enough.

I then completed a house sale with Angeline (solicitor) and Sarah who were equally excellent. Very helpful, went to great lengths to explain everything required (and it got difficult due to having to do a variation on the lease). Very easy to get hold of and always replied to emails promptly which is greatly appreciated.

This company just dropped the execution of a family will days before the funeral. They showed disorganization and lack of regard and sensitivity. As we live abroad, we were left with no viable options to move forward. Communication is very poor and they offered no alternatives.
