I have to say as an estate agent this company is a standing joke. Staff attitude is disgraceful and myself and others wonder how they actually manage to sell any of their homes and on that note if the legal side operates the same, it creates huge concern...
If your calling about a property and well god help you if you ask for more details or further information, that's you pushing the boat out too far. You dare not ask for emails and please keep in mind if your solicitor is also needing to speak to them about the property pending an offer... again how very dare you to ask such a thing even they are given no information...
Come on poeple how in the name of God can you sell your properties and make money for yourself or your clients if you do nothing but play games of disrespect and no effort ?
Oh don't send them an email asking a question at a start of a sale or process of any kind, they give you nothing back and complain about you to your solicitor..
Never in my life have i seen an estate agent work in such a disgraceful manner and I have sold and bought various properties..
Hang your head in shame .. from front of desk staff to the head of department for sales, your standards of customer service needs a full overhaul..
In saying that, I am sure that in itself would be frowned upon by you..
I would NOT recommend this company in any way....

Iain was a decent solicitor. A little slow in responses but that was more from the other side so was out of their control. Was able to provide additional photos of the property which was helpful.

What knocked down my review score was calls to the reception / admin as, for being the front of the business and the first thing customers have contact with, they were a bit unpleasant. In person they seemed fine, not overly friendly but not as brash as they were on the phone. Wouldn't recommend based on this, as you shouldn't have to feel like a burden.

I recommend this firm very highly indeed, having used them very recently for a complex, difficult purchase of a remote property in Scotland. They are extremely knowledgeable on matters relating to crofting/de-crofting, rights of access, etc. They are thorough and efficient in correspondence and good value. MacKenzie and Cormack inspired confidence in dealing with a very difficult seller who sought to cut corners at every opportunity.
