Do not use this Law Firm! I have found Lux Law to be totally incompetent and the owner Ann Lux to be the most unprofessional and rudest person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. From the start we received no emails confirming any of the forms we had returned to them were received and were acceptable, or any updates by phone or email confirming where we were with the move. Important enquiries received from the buyer’s solicitor were sent to us over a week later than when they received them. When I called the office, the receptionists couldn’t wait to get me off the phone, they also gave me incorrect information regarding a boundary issue. We received no replies to our queries either. When I emailed Ann to complain and point this out, I did not hear anything further until the following week, which was a phone call from Ann stating a problem with the boundary and that it was going to be very costly and very time consuming to resolve. When I asked Ann a question about this and suggested a couple of ways to resolve the problem, she replied to one of the suggestions that it wasn’t her job and then she launched a verbal attack on me, accusing me of telling her how to do her job, stating that she was a professional and asked what I did. I was so stunned, I calmly suggested that we end the call as this was not productive. Ann asked me if this was because the call wasn’t going my way! Ann then said that she was basically sacking me. (I note other reviews stating exactly the same thing, seems to be a pattern here) I then had to instruct another solicitor and start all over again. After having a totally different experience with the new solicitor, who completed my sale within 6 weeks, I now know that Ann did not need to take the action she said was needed which would have cost me hundreds of pounds and lost me my sale. I rest my case...

We have been in our home for 12 months now and thought we should share our experience. We were actually dreading the legal part of our latest move, based on our previous stressful experience when moving. Our agent recommended that we use LUX LAW and my, we are so pleased that we did ! We were dealing with a tricky company ownership purchase and this also worried us greatly.
It turns out, that when you use people that know their stuff and anticipate forthcoming issues, the sale and purchase can be a smooth and stress free process ! This is our fourth home and without doubt the most complex move and I can honestly say, it was a breeze ! We were updated when there was an update, in fact I never had to call Lux Law, they were always on the front foot and contacted us with a stage by stage update.
They have a great team that produce the results and provide the assurances and confidence needed during what can be a stressful time !
