Absolutely incredible food in a spooky-rustic setting! A fantastic choice of indulgent meaty dishes, along with a nice selection of beers. We chose to sit outside in a heated pod which was a fun little quirk, adding to our first experience of L&L! Servers were friendly and attentive, and we even got a few kind words from a chef as a left! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Thanks to all the team for a memorable evening!

Absolutely amazing meal! Super tasty, staff were amazing and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be going back again to try something else off the menu - however the meat trays will be hard to beat!
Only negative was the sweetcorn which lacked any seasoning.

This place is an absolute treat! The Halloween-themed decor is next-level, with erie lighting that totally sets the mood. It’s like stepping into a haunted house... but with seriously delicious burgers. The attention to detail in both the food and the atmosphere makes it a must-visit. Great vibe, friendly staff, and the perfect spot for a creepy-good meal year-round!

Would not recommend — food could have made us ill

Went to Liquor & Loaded last Friday after calling the day before to book a table, but when we arrived, they had no record of it. We were sat by the back door, so every time someone went outside a blast of cold air hit us — not exactly comfortable.

We could hear the kitchen staff chatting about their week, and the chef shouting at servers for not moving quick enough because “everyone was standing around.” My husband’s chicken came out undercooked and bloody — completely unsafe to eat. Food like that could honestly make someone seriously ill.

Nobody checked in on us during the meal or asked if we wanted more drinks. We didn’t even bother complaining because what could they have done at that point? We just paid and left.

Poor service, poor food, and potentially dangerous to serve. Would not recommend and definitely won’t be going back.

If ever you find yourself stopping in King's Lynn and want to find a place to eat, Liquor & Loaded has you covered.

It's a medium-sized goth-style decorated restaurant with an outdoor twist - wooden pod cubicles with a space heater, light, and a plastic wind breaker to keep the elements out. It was perfect for the cool weather we experienced.

When I visited, I tried the 8 ounce steak and bbq ribs, and I must say, they were well worth the £24. The portions were enormous: the steak was very well seasoned, cooked to medium-rare perfection, and the ribs were tender, falling off the vone in a beautiful BBQ glaze. That's not to mention the generous share of fries, onion rings, and a corn on the cob! All this you can see in the huge plate they give you!

I followed this up with a brownie sundae and was pleasantly surprised by the portions again.

I can not recommend a visit to this restaurant enough, and I really appreciated the considerate service by Clara and Courtney.

The food was excellent with a good selection of mains and deserts for gluten free. We were outside in the heated pod which was very nice! Photo of the gluten free cheese cake and chocolate cake!

A solid range of American style food in a quirky bar setting. Lovely staff, and welcoming atmosphere.
Enjoyed chicken waffles, and a burger. Both cooked fresh. Would have loved one more tender versus the chip volume for the price, but tasty nonetheless!
