We arrived in England in December 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. My husband was already living in the UK, my daughter and I came to spend three months with him and then return to Brazil. When I first approached Mr. Zuberi, my case was in complete disarray, having been mishandled by three previous solicitors. I was on the verge of deportation. However, Mr. Zuberi’s expertise turned things around. He listens attentively to every detail and presents my case with solid evidence.
He doesn’t just work on your case—he ensures that every decision is in your best long-term interest. When my visa was granted, and I received five years of leave to remain, Mr. Zuberi advised me about an alternative route. Before completing those five years, I could potentially qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) based on my legal 10 years residency. I was hesitant and fearful of rejection, so I initially refused to apply.
I still remember the day Mr. Zuberi called me again, urging me to apply as the Home Office was about to close the ILR route that applied to my case. I trusted him, and he worked tirelessly—even staying awake until 2 a.m. to secure me a priority appointment, which was incredibly difficult due to the high demand in the system. Thanks to his dedication, I got my priority service appointment, and he meticulously prepared my case. When I attended my appointment, I received my ILR within two hours. It was the happiest day of my life, and I can never thank Mr. Zuberi enough for his persistence and guidance.
When the time came to apply for British citizenship, Mr. Zuberi once again reminded me. With his help, I obtained my British passport, and my children received theirs as well. After 14 years, I am finally able to travel back to my home country—something that would not have been possible without Mr. Zuberi’s dedication and hard work.
