The equipment wasn't reliable so we went to another Company who provided better service.
Ironically when I had disconnected your equipment it worked better than it did when we had it! I received no less than FIVE Calls enquiring if we were alright as there had been a trigger alarm, it's such a pity that it didn't respond when we needed it!!! My son also received an emergency call on Sunday 20/7/25 morning informing him that our alarm had triggered and that he might want to check that we were OK. That would have been acceptable, had it been whilst we had the equipment but the equipment had been POSTED BACK to you several days BEFOREHAND!! I think that there is something seriously wrong with your Company. I would also be grateful if you will confirm receipt of all the equipment sent back to you, and confirm that my fees for the equipment have been refunded in full as promised.

I have been without my lifeline for last 2-3 days and my phone line has been disconnected.which is scarey as if I fall i have no alarm.Apparently I have got to pay another £40 (to go digital ) The renewal cost is so so expensive that will definitely be shopping around next time.

SHOCKING!!!
Renewed my mums contract on the 20th March this year at a cost of £169. Sadly she passed away on the 24th April. Let Lifeline know & they sent me a pre paid label to send the machine back. What with the grief of losing my mother, having to deal with probate & everything that goes with the loss of a loved one i fell into depression & had forgotten to send the machine back. Yesterday i received a letter asking for £100 for not sending back the machine. I spoke to a man called ( i am not allowed to give his name) who was not understanding & said i should read the t&cs. I have paid for rental of the machine until the 19th March 2025. There is no refund for early cancellation so the rental has been paid for 1 year. Seems to me that you want the unit back to make more money on it. You will receive the machine back but not £100. They also sent an email to my mum dated 28th Nov, saying, & i quote, "speak to you soon"...she had passed away on the 24th April. PLEASE, PLEASE use other local companies usually run by your council & not this uncaring, faceless company! If i could have given 0 stars i would have done. DISGRACEFUL!!!

I am appalled by the procedures adopted by Life Connect 24 for returning personal alarms. I hired an alarm system for my partner for the minimum period of 3 months. He had recently had a major operation and I was going away for 10 days. I paid in advance for 3 months and this period expires at the end of June. I received an email from Life Connect 24 on 24th May saying that they were going to charge my card for the next 3 months on 29th May. I was shocked that they would take payment a month in advance but, as I was planning to cancel it anyway, I telephoned to cancel the contract. I was told that I would not be charged any more, they would be sent a link to a return label and asked me to return it within 2 weeks.
I’ve not yet returned the system but was planning to do so within the 2 weeks. I then saw that they had charged my credit card for the next 3 months. I rang to ask for this to be refunded and was told they couldn’t issue a refund until they have received the equipment. This was not said when I made the call to cancel. I said I would return the equipment as soon as I had received the refund but was told this was not possible. I asked to speak to a supervisor who rang me the next day. She also said they couldn’t make the refund until the equipment had been received. I told her I now have no faith in the company at all and, in the end, she said she would confirm in writing that I would receive the refund in full when they received the equipment. I have no choice but to accept this as they have taken my money and I no longer need the equipment but I am horrified by this. Surely they could have waited until the two weeks were up and then emailed me to say they were going to charge me if it wasn’t returned or told me when I cancelled that this was the case.

My aged relative, living alone had the benefit of a lifeline 24 alert for over 2 years before moving into a care home. She has frequent falls but we had the security of knowing we would get a call if she fell and then be able to go and attend to her straightaway. In my experience Lifeline 24 provided a very helpful and reliable service.

Complete lack of empathy and understanding when an elderly long standing customers passes away - no refund on annual contract which has 10 months to run. Make sure you understand this and find alternative provider that allows termination of contract upon death and refund for any pre payments made

An excellent product. I ordered the Pendant and the Fall Detector and they both arrived the next day. Setting up was easy and the people I spoke to were very helpful and knowledgeable and talked me through everything to ensure that it all worked properly.
Fortunately, my Mother has not had to use it so far but if she did I have no doubt that she will be able to summon help quickly. That is worth the money for peace of mind alone.
