People get put off being landlords because we have all heard about the tenant from hell. I have been there and have had a few issues with the one who has just left.

Acted fraudulently for a client to con me the tenant out of a significant amount of money. I was renting a house which I subsequently left at the end of tenancy. I then did not hear anything for 2 years. In between this I had moved abroad and later found out the owner alongside Mr Amin Ahmed had launched a country court judgement and very cleverly did not serve me the notice but claimed they did. The bill was 35,000 including 8,000 in legal fees to serve a county court judgement? Doesn't sound right does it! The monthly rental payments was 2,000 and was paid in full. I unfortunately had to pay it and I'm now working with a reputable legal firm to recover the costs and prove the unscrupulous and fraudulently tactics by Amin and his client.
I would not recommend Amin to anyone or his firm.
