Highly recommend Knowles Benning. Fantastic service from start to finish. Nick, our conveyancer, was very thorough and diligent, ensuring that we weren't bullied into signing a contract with serious errors and ambiguities for our new build property. Quote was instant as were all of his speedy replies.
If you're buying a new build, don't even think about using one of your builder's 'recommended solicitors'; make sure you go for a conveyancer who will act in your interests - so glad that we did!

Used them for a divorce financial case. Not cheap, but did the job, and we got a good outcome. Staff very helpful, and cheerful, and 'laffy'. 2 Duncans, ours was lovely, and successful. No lift, but not surprising in such an old, rickety, mid~terrace building, but full of charm.
