We used Kitsons as our solicitors in Feb - Aug 2023 to purchase a house in Exeter. After dealing with a few different members of staff to get an accurate quote, we settled with them and were assigned Jasmine T and Jenna. Jasmine was able to answer calls when we had questions, whereas Jenna did more of the final paperwork. Quite a lot of chasing was required, so be proactive if you go with them. They responded well and kept up with the pace we required. Jenna worked well with the estate agent (Fraser & Wheeler) and kept them informed of our progress. Would recommend, just be proactive.

They do not reply and ignore solicitor and estate agents correspondence. I did use them 6years ago and the service was really good, but sadly after having to deal with them now as the other side, they come across incompetent. Up until this point I would have used them again and recommended them. I only didn’t use them as they were too busy, but I will now take my business elsewhere

I wish I could give them zero stars they don't deserve one.
Took two years over handling a simple estate.
They only seem to work on Tuesdays too, and allow weeks and weeks and weeks to go by before checking on progress.
Absolutely lazy incompetent part timers who care nothing about their clients.
Constant excuses, constant sick days and vacations.
Missing money also could not be accounted for and they made no effort to find out why.
This is NOT "The way it should be"
