As we embark on the autumn school term, I want to share some insights about Kip McGrath, where I had the pleasure of tutoring.

At Kip, our dedicated, qualified teachers focus on enhancing the work your child is doing in school. Each student undergoes an initial assessment by Parram Bhullarr the centre's director, allowing us to tailor a course that meets their unique needs.

Our centre is housed in a charming historic building, featuring a welcoming waiting area and well-organised classrooms equipped with the latest technology. Students benefit from working in small groups, fostering new friendships and collaborations.

We also have ample parking for your convenience. I encourage you to give Kip a chance; I’m confident you’ll be delighted with the progress and confidence your child will gain.

Our son has been attending lessons at Kip McGrath since the start of 2024, & has made great progress. He is very young at only 5 years old, but with suspected dyslexia he was really struggling to get to grips with the basics of phonics, reading, writing & spellings. He was falling behind his peers at school & his self-confidence was very low.
Huge thanks to Parram for the support, encouragement & enthusiasm which she brings to her teaching: our son has not only improved in his school work but - much more importantly - his confidence in learning has returned & he now actively enjoys his lessons rather than dreading them.

We have used Kip McGrath Biggleswade for around 18 months for our daughter. Mrs Bhullarr was warm and welcoming and provided all necessary information for an easy introduction to the lessons. She has the right balance between fun to make the students want to go, and strictness to ensure they do their homework! It was just what we needed to give my daughter a bit of extra confidence, and I wouldn't hesitate to use the service again, or recommend to others.

Our Daughter has been going to Kip McGrath for nearly two years now. Kudos to Parram and the Kip McGrath team for showing the kindness and support needed to give our daughter the extra push needed especially with the school closures during COVID where our daughter missed out on a lot of studies which has enabled her to catch up with her studies in Maths and English. Both my children have attended Kip McGraph for a few years , and have greatly improved in both English and Maths. I have found the centre to be very flexiable for missed lessons or to change to on-line lessons when needed. Parram who runs the centre is lovely, very approachable and takes a keen interest in all the students outside school interests .There is online and written homework the computer system is easy to access and use with additional games. The lessons are tailored to your childs learning and Parram is alway happy to help with any school homework queries. I would definetly recommend Parram and Kip Mcgraph team to anyone. Thank you Kip for all your support and hardwork you taking in teaching the students.

My daughter had always struggled and found Maths difficult, she had no interest in it at all and homework was always a battle. After the lockdowns and home schooling we decided to go to Kip McGrath for help. This was the best decision we could of made, not only has she caught up but her confidence has grown and, she actually enjoys maths now. This is all down to Kip McGrath encouraging her and helping her believe that she can do it !

My daughter does English and I definitely think it has helped her - she has improved considerably from when she first started. Parram is lovely and brilliant with the kids. I thought my daughter would find it a real chore to go to these lessons, but she enjoys the focused attention and goes willingly

After completing Year 11 mocks, it became apparent that our son needed some extra support for his GCSEs this summer. First contact with Parram at Kip McGrath was easy and we agreed a plan for our son to move forward. Lessons at the centre itself in Biggleswade in small groups. Always sat at the same desk, headphones used and individual programme used for each student. 2 Sessions a week 1 English Language, 1 English Literature, which helped him instantly to separate the 2 differences required for the papers. Homework was set, some on line and some paper based too. The lessons are 1 hr 10 mins long, allowing time for settling down which is great. Parram works through all the school holidays and if something comes up, it is easy to reschedule so not to loose out. Our son did the lessons all the way up to the last exam, lessons were adjusted to whatever exam was next. He found this very helpful and kept it fresh in his mind. Parram was also excellent with Our son who has a EHCP/Special Educational Needs. I would totally recommend Parram at Kip McGrath in Biggleswade and thank her for all the support she has done for our son.
