I've used Kim to administer my property deals for many years and have always found her extremely helpful and diligent. Most recently I engaged Kim to sort out a change of contract and the completion on a property with extremely tight timescales. This She did with professional competence even over the festive period and was able to put me at ease when dealing with another legal practice who were somewhat out of touch with modern practices of customer service.

I have edited my review because Kim keeps editing her reply to this review. First she said she believes the review to be false (as she does with all negative reviews), and then tried to defend sending information to the wrong email address. All this does, Kim, is confirm my negative review.

My original review said: “Avoid if you can. I instructed this firm on behalf of my parents. The communication was terrible, and the service was unbelievably poor. I see Kim says her bad reviews are fake, I can confirm this one is real, unfortunately. I would never use this solicitor again”

I will now go further: No I have not put in a formal complaint, nor have my parents, because I don’t think you are a bad solicitor. The task you did for my parents was small and simple so I can’t judge your abilities as a solicitor. But, I can say the communication skills of you and your staff are terrible, and I think you take on more work than you can manage, as the delays to your replies are huge. It took weeks to get replies on simple things like payment details. Small tasks take days and days of chasing. Your poor communication actually delayed us being able to exchange on a house.

So no, my parents don’t need to make an official complaint, but they did ask me to leave a negative review of your firm. I would certainly never use your firm, neither would my parents.

Maybe instead of being so defensive (including accusing your clients of lying with false reviews!), you should listen and improve your service. You don’t have all these negative reviews for no reason and you’re doing yourself no favours by arguing in the reply sections of your negative reviews.

Kim has dealt with a variety of transactions for me, my family and friends over the last 20 years. I cannot rate her and the firm highly enough. I would strongly recommend Kim and the firm as they deal with everything fast and professionally and at very reasonable rates. Can't faiult them at all and will continue to recommend them to all.
