New Driver facing a Court Appearance- Parent’s Perspective

I can thoroughly recommend Sunil; he achieved a highly professional and amicable solution to a driving licence / traffic related charge my New Driver son was facing at Court. Despite a set of circumstances stacked against my son, Sunil managed through his advocacy and knowledge to save my son’s licence from being revoked, we cannot begin to express how grateful we are. I heard hubby saying “12 points? I have never had a point in my life”.

There then followed a terribly shocking day. Hubby contacted our local Hertfordshire police - got a crime number. Then phoned DVLA to dispute. DVLA advised that all paperwork had been sent to an address in Purley Surrey - not our Herts address. Next he phoned Action Fraud to log the fraud.Then the thought “Hang on…12 points - is the car still insured and can I still drive? “
He phoned our insurance company - put through to underwriter and told should be OK to drive and they would still insure the vehicle.
Hubby was completely overwhelmed by this - how should you react when you are a professional PCV license holder? No employer will consider you with 12 points even though you are NOT guilty of these offences.

On Monday 5th March hubby contacted Sunil at Kent Traffic Law and discussed the situation and that the first appeal date was on 7th March. Thankfully Sunil took on the case and rearranged his week to help.

On 7 March he met with Hubby at court where Sunil realised it was actually 3 separate cases with multiple offences.
Sunil spoke and liaised with the Court Clerk, Court Usher and CPS Officer. They worked together in getting all 3 cases heard in the same session. Hubby was told in court that all charges had been mistakenly filed against him and they were all dropped.

I cannot express my gratitude for the help that Sunil provided to hubby and also to me. He exudes calm confidence and worked tirelessly to help us.

Speeding 105mph

I was recently caught for speeding and to be honest it was the worst mistake I have ever made I would like to say today I faced court and with Sunil’s diligence and support and due to his preparation and and guidance I was able to still drive and I was given 6 points and a fine . I cannot recommend Sunil enough he maintained his ability and confidence and was able to explain to me step by step of what I should provide the court. He maintained communication throughout the entire process. Sunil explained what is to be expected and how to prepare for court. Sunil is a very prepared barrister and even called me the day before to ensure I had all documents ready.

Sunil also asks to meet you in person in a friendly environment a fees before you attend court to prepare all of the paperwork this helps saves time on the day you attend.
