If I could give ZERO stars I would. Called to inquire about this firm taking me on as a client and was told someone would get in touch with me by the next day. One week goes by and I have to call them back. I'm informed I wasn't even placed on their spreadsheet to be called back, so they place me on the spreadsheet and tell me someone will call me by the end of the week. ANOTHER week goes by and I call them back. I'm told I'm on the spreadsheet this time and that a lawyer will look over the information I provided and call me by tomorrow. That was a month ago and guess what...? No call. I guess if they don't think they can make decent money off of you they won't call you back. A simple phone call saying they were unable to represent me would have been the professional thing to do but seems like no call is their specialty.

Terrible experience. Did not find value here - feel completely ripped off. Would not recommend. Would never use. In my opinion, this is a typical law firm that takes your money and does not care about the person behind the retainer. Evan Best did a terrible job representing us and put us in a worse position. In my opinion he is over priced for what he offers. Total waste of money and I regret ever hiring this firm /Evan Best.

Seemed genuinely concerned about my situation involving an Agent of my parent but charged the amount she said it was going to be, OVER the amount of the $5000 retainer! Did not seem to know the laws surrounding Power of Attorneys or Personal Directives and basically what I got was a rewriting of the situation even dismissing some evidence as “illegible” and telling me to ask the Agents myself. they offered to write letters, one to the Home to obtain the Personal Directive, but I cannot imagine how much more this would have cost.
I had wanted help navigating the Court system and this was ignored or forgotten.
Along with the rewriting of the situation they cited a case where they fought against the plaintiff and he was kept from visiting his parent. To me this seemed like a conflict of interest to be now trying to get rights for my mom as they were ignored in that case.

Really terrible experience with receptionist. Couldnt get any further.
Receptionist asked for a brief. I informed I am undergoing treatment with AHS and on medication. I might come across raised voice. But please be patient.

Did not say a single swear word.

Yet she just hung up on me.

Good Luck getting legal help if receptionist hired by businesses behave that way.

Tough for employers as they have to accept what reasons receptionist gives for hanging up on calls like this. And impossible to monitor each and every call.

But if you dont get past reception, forget everything else.

Tried to get information from them in writing , they took 2 weeks to reply to a simple yes or no question then deferred me to the Amicus program, like who's a "friend" of court ? They weren't interested in making some quick cash, but could have been more consise and just straight up said they weren't interested. Not the place to get what you need unless you're an imbellcile.
