Can’t review the rooms as we only had food here. It is an average pub with basic food. Not bad at all but not outstanding either.

They also have some weird ordering process. Even if the place is open for food you are given a time slot when you can order? Apparently this is because the kitchen is small and people who reserved should have ‘priority’ but this is very confusing. There were other tables where they also did not understand this system. This should be changed, makes no sense.

Good wine and beer with friendly folks working there. Lovely relaxing place in a cute village within easy day trip / commuting distance of London.

23rd June 2024 5 of us had a great Sunday lunch. Leisurely service suited us while we chatted, great food, chef swapped the trimmings around for the veggie option. Nothing to fault. Should be busier than it was.

Lovely little village pub, super quaint. Nice service just unfortunately a Greene King pub so the beer selection on cask and keg is very boring (greene king ipa, landlord on cask) and bevertown neck oil ticking the craft box. Still worth it as its pretty.
