My partner was appointed a solicitor called Alex at the beginning of his case, who seemed decent but was shortly given a different solicitor, George. My partner told me several times he was having difficulty getting hold of him and felt like he was being kept in the dark about a lot of things relating to his case, right up until the sentencing, where he was told things on the day he definitely should've been informed of much earlier. They failed my partner massively and he is now in prison. I can't help but feel like as this was a legal aid case, they don't put much effort into it. You're playing with people's lives because you can't be bothered to answer the phone or send an email. Having spoken to people about this firm, it's clear they work with the police to secure convictions. Unless you want to go to prison, DO NOT use them. I will be taking this further.

AVOID this law firm at all costs!!! zoe banfield and her team of "solicitors" are corrupt & unprofessional.

i was left confused and unaware of a lot of vital information regarding my case.

they work with the prosecution to secure statistics. please do yourself a favour and choose any other firm. you WILL lose any case you task them with.

READ THIS CAREFULLY. We were given george as our solicitor, unfortunately he very rarely answered our messages, when you have a family member on remand and your messages are ignored it is very frustrating.
I myself contacted the court on numerous occasions as George wasn't reliable to do this .
I was the person who had to phone the court to get my family member a court date otherwise he would still be held on remand. I messaged george and gave him the date and time for him and the barrister to attend court and he didn't even acknowledge my message.
I complained to jsp twice but still George did not change his attitude and ignored our calls. The 3rd time i complained he was taken off the case and we were given Zoe as our solicitor, believe me it was a breath of fresh air.
Zoe was excellent in giving us the information and advice we needed , contacting the prison , the courts , it made our lives so much easier.
The company are only as good as the person you deal with .
So if i had Zoe from the beginning it would be 5 stars ..

Abysmal. Failed to take account of my disabilities and totally ignored my difficulties communicating. This company left me as a vulnerable client without representation, without support and failed to act as solicitors at all. If you want to go down call these guys.
