James worked with us on our planning application for a small holiday unit in the Tamar Valley. There were many difficulties and objections, both locally, with the planning authorities and the offices of the AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The application was eventually successfully after going to appeal and the building is now complete, in use and much admired.
James has much experience and knowledge of planning procedures and policies, and brings to this a great deal of tenacity and calm; qualities which enable him to provide well-grounded advice and support, with measured optimism, in planning situations such as ours, where many times we felt we were on a lost cause, but where eventually there was a great result.
