Being part of the HEVRA network for electric vehicles I choose JA Services to swap out a high mileage traction battery on my Nissan LEAF. Justin took delivery and fitted the new battery in a professional manner. The car now has longer range and no issues when extra demand is required from the accelerator. A great garage. Had a pre MOT check, spot on, very informative and friendly chat about the result, mind at rest for the actual MOT, now booked, observed while I was waiting how the staff interacted with other customers, very friendly and as far as I could tell very informative. Much cheaper than the main dealers servicing and within walking distance of the bright lights of beautiful Ripon while you wait.

Got to leave the car for a whole day from 10 to 5 for 15 minutes job of topping up the AC . And not cheap . When asked why took all that time for simple job,they responded we are understaffed. They could have asked to bring the car at the end of the day instead. They did the job at the end but wasted a lot of time.

Edit after reply : thank you for your reply and for the job , nothing in your reply was explained to me during booking , And even if it takes one hour to do the job, you could have explained this when I dropped the car. My review was fare as I explained to everyone that you did the job but they have to leave the car for the whole day , I have 3 stars for the job and good service and took 2 stars off for the unexplained delay and over pricing , I was fair with you while rating your business .

All you can ask for in a garage. Willing to make the effort to diagnose problems properly and straightforward explanations or repairs that are required. Estimated costs are given in advance and overall bills seem very reasonable in comparison to other garages I have used. My wife also uses them now and is equally satisfied.
