I spoke to Paul for about an hour or so; he was incredibly helpful. I initially queried whether my idea was patentable, but it wasn't due to the nature of it. However, that didn't stop Paul from going into great detail about what could be done to develop my intellectual property, unlike other patent solicitors I spoke to in the Kent area. I spoke to Paul to find out if my idea was patentable. He took the time to understand exactly what I was trying to achieve, with my product, before giving full and comprehensive details on what my options were.
We covered everything from initial cost for searches, specification creation, how much it would cost to submit a patent in the UK, Europe, US and even China! He also gave me information on trademarks and industrial design, which I'd not thought about before.
