Have given great advice, on a few different issues I have had over the years. So, why the 3/5 review?

Well, these days it’s almost impossible to actually get through to anyone, regardless of day or time of day I have called. I have a limit I can wait, as I have a 50 minute lunch and they are closed weekend to my knowledge.

So I waited 45 mins each time, being three calls on separate days of the month, and in still on hold. I don’t think many people would wait around an hour to get through to these guys, unless you are desperate for advice, and you perhaps are on holiday from work or are unemployed and have the time to wait.

As I said at the beginning, if you do get through to them, they are really good. But look at how many people are struggling with life in general, so it’s no wonder the lines are jammed.

Despite this being a long wait as there is a lot of people needing help, with many being turned away, they are of great help. Lauren helped me out massively today.

Went in and had a chat with one of the staff about ECO4 and my pension. After quite a bit of checking and a quick chat with his colleague. He found that I wasn't eligible for the grant (so a bit disappointing) but his help was second to none. Thank you to all the staff at Citizens Advice that give up their time to help their fellow men.
