Houghs, quoted me in January for a coach for the full day in May, for a group to climb the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for a charity event. The quote was rather cheap, so I double checked at the time and they agreed, that the quote was correct. We payed the balance as instructed months before. Then they called the day before the 3 peaks walk to cancel the coach. There was no help from the company to find another coach, also not even offered to pay the difference if there was a further cost in comparison to their charge for another coach company to collect us, this would have been appreciated for the inconvenience and the stress they had caused.
For these reasons I do not recommend this company for private hire.

Today we returned from a week in Bournemouth organised by coach holiday company Hough’s of Lincolnshire. Absolutely great week at a great hotel The Riviera. Our driver ( Neil) was a true professional and really looked after us the entire time! Will certainly travel with Hough’s again once we have read through the offerings contained in the brochure for 2025/26. 5 Stars!

Really enjoyed the trip but as I stood up to get off the coach at the end of the journey, I caught my leg on something sharpe on the edge of the seat. I ended up with a nasty gash that bled profusely. My daughter asked if the driver would access the first aid kit as there was blood running down my leg, a bandage would have been handy. The driver said 'the first aid kit was for emergencies only and the shop was open'! I have never come across such an uncaring attitude

Lovely few days in Aberfoyle with trips out to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Loch Lomond. Food at the Rob Roy hotel was great and the staff were very accommodating. A great break at an incredible price. Booking again for next year.

Fab 2 days in London with carol concert at Royal Albert Hall. Very efficient service and Neal the coach driver was very informative and made the trip great fun. Well done!

Very disappointed with this company.
Booked for York Christmas market months ago for the 3rd December.
Travelled from Staffordshire to my mum's in cleethorpes on Friday to get a call on Friday afternoon that the company had cancelled the trip and wanted to change the date to the 12th. My niece has also taken time off work for this day trip.
This is totally unacceptable of Houghs and will definitely never be booking a trip with them again as they can not be relied on
