Joke of a company. I'd make a better solicitor after spending 5 mins on Google. Absolutely shocking communication with myself and between the team at HCC.

Case has been ongoing for 4 years now. Endless months without response to my emails and without any updates at all. 2 solicitors have quit and I wasn't informed till I rang and the 3rd one couldn't be bothered to contact me and once he has (only because I chased this up), he couldn't be more useless if he tried.

I've been told A, B, C and D by same and different solicitors but suddenly someone changes their mind and it's X, Y and Z.

No handover at all between solicitors, nobody knows anything, they try and steal money from you by claiming more needs to be paid despite VERY CLEAR paperwork stating otherwise but until you argue it and point it out, they won't take notice of.

Complaints team is absolutely horrific too. Been told complaint can take 8 weeks to be dealt with. It's been approx 20 weeks and not a single response to my follow ups. Next step is Ombudsman so that's where I'll be going.

Absolutely disgraceful company. Do not recommend them at all. Wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

(Oh and I have everything in black and white clear emails so it isn't just a random rant)

Terrible almost five years of waiting, almost no communication told not to send multiple update emails, well if you did give regular and tangerble updates we wouldn't have to ask!!! Absolutely disgusted with the way our case has been handled do not deserve the clients save yourself time, effort and alot of stress and go elsewhere

Update- now 4 and a half years into the case, multiple errors and issues, often ignored or unresolved - spending inordinate amounts of time chasing and trying to resolve HCCs mistakes on my own time. No confidence whatsoever.

HCC took over my personal injury claim after a car accident I was in (not my fault). They have possibly the slowest response time to emails I've ever seen (most go entirely ignored). Getting information about the progress of the claim has been very difficult. Phone calls handed in a curse, abrupt manner, as if any question is an onerous chore.

My medical was done in a Travel Lodge side room, not the most professional 'doctors office' I've ever been to...

Edit: 7 months on this remains the case, emails left unanswered for weeks on end, only to receive responses with basic inaccuracies. Poor.

Absolutely shocking excuse of a solicitor firm, wouldn't recommend them to my dog, had an ongoing claim for the best of 3 and a half years where I am assigned a solicitor that leaves within the month, as to which you are not even informed until you call them, then the process is back to square one. Good luck getting thru on telephone as they let the phone ring for 10 seconds until telling you all of their team are busy. Also good luck getting your emails replied to, as it often takes up to 8 weeks for a response. Have to demand a chase until you are actually given a reply.

These solicitors are extremely dedicated, helpful, and personable. They will go the extra mile! I discovered them through a service in the hospital after a major car crash when I was in bed and in pain, then they helped me to realise that we might have a case. They are extremely professional and I felt totally comfortable working with them. I thank them so much for all their efforts, and we got the claim we were seeking. They came personally recommended and I trust them with everything.

This is the worst solicitor firm l have ever deal with they are very incompetent. Client has to chase them with phone calls to demand an update to one’s case. Solicitors are living cases pass on to new person and the whole process will be started all over again. Case been processed for more than 3 years. Calling the office is a nightmare will be on hold for hours. Even contact to the case solicitor you hardly speak to them.
