Total waste of time. Ended up taking the hospital to the Small Claims Court and won. Healthwatch Derbyshire managed to get a single reply from the hospital but refused to give me the persons name who gave the reply.
In the Chesterfield Hospital Annual Report, I quote
"Healthwatch Derbyshire looks forward to working with the hospital". Pity they dont look forward to helping the patients with their almost £500,000 in publicly funded grants.

Get better health and social care advice in Belper, but not here!!

Very Rude ‘Enter and View Officer’!
Over exaggerated for her wide range of experience, including health and patient experience. There are some fantastic places to get real advice and have your say in Belper who deserve the support and credit. I could say more but the Officer knows how I feel about my experience, they just don’t care in my opinion.

I have seen witnessed all kinds of serious problems in our hospital as well as local surgery, and had the help from Derbyshire healthwatch I'm so glad they are here we need more people on our side, as I have been lied to on more than one occasion, because I suffer from Anxiety, I've been miss diagnosed. At least five times within the last 2years, now I've been here and they have helped put that right. I trust these good people you should trust as well, because no one else will.

They dealt with my enquiry within less than 24 hours which I thought was excellent and sorted it out immediately. You can tell by their work that they actually listen to Derbyshire residents and keep up-to-date with changes within the health sector. Shame other Healthwatches aren't like them..others should take note.
