Great Experience!

Great experience finding this car on autotrader. It was very well priced and with the favourable APR (Santander) I decided it was worth submitting finance and deposit quickly. Finance was possible to do online outside of working hours and the response was immediate. Along with that all required paperwork being provided through the Hartwell account online ahead of time made for a very easy collection experience which leant to be me being able to collect the car inside of my lunch break. Super convenient.

Richard Brewer served me throughout and was really polite and slick at arranging everything through the account and helped by taxing the vehicle on the day.

This was a non Ford vehicle but was no less well cleaned and charged and prepared as though it was one of their own.

Booked for a test drive at 1pm. I arrived on time and was informed of an undetermined period of time until I could test drive ("the salesperson who made the booking is busy right now and we don't know when they will be available"). I was invited to look around the showroom to look at different cars while I wait.

After 25 minutes of waiting I was offered a complementary hot drink as there was still no resources available for the test drive. In addition, no timeframe could be provided for when I could test drive the car. I left shortly after this exchange and will be looking to pursue my desired purchase elsewhere.

In future, when an appointment is booked, I advise it is handled better than my experience. My preference is for the dealership where I obtain my car from to be the point of annual servicing and/or MOT. With the approach I experienced, it gave red flags for future requirements.

Just purchased a vehicle from Chris Clarke, really nice gentleman, not a pushy salesman at all and very knowledgeable about the vehicles I was interested in.
My understanding of the process is not great and Chris guided me through it all from a test drive all the way to helping me register my new plates.
We drove two hours twice to visit Chris and in all truth will be back again and recommend to all friends and family.
Car drives and looks fantastic.

Worst experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. On my way to pick the vehicle up I was told it still needed parts after being told it was ready.
After only a couple of days of having the vehicle I found the heating/air con wasn’t working (which had supposedly been fixed) along with a couple of other issues.
To top it off I was charged more for the vehicle as they did not take the deposit money off the outstanding balance, which after 5 weeks I still have not received! I thought buying from a main dealership such as Ford would be a much better service. Disgraceful!

I have a new vehicle that has several issues that need fixing under warranty. So far it’s taken 2 months and 2 cancellation and it’s still not been looked at. There attitude today was just I can’t be assed and take it somewhere else with no solution. Very poor
