Having never used a solicitor before or been involved with legal proceedings of any kind I was a little hesitant and worried about making a claim for injuries I had sustained at a supermarket. I saw a tv advertisement for Harris Fowler and gave them a call. From the initial call they were professional and helpful. They explained how they would help the process costs and the likelihood of me making a successful claim. On the first phone call they explained that a solicitor would call me back to further discuss my accident.

True to there words a lovely solicitor called Vicky Crandon called me and before taking any information she first asked “are you okay and well enough to answer some questions. I thought that was caring and thoughtful. After I reassured her I was ok to answer them she began to take down my personal information and the details of my accident along with providing me with her direct number incase I need med to contact her. As I needed to send some photos I already had her email address. Vicky explained she would be my case solicitor and that she would be the one acting on my behalf. I had expected to just receive correspondences phone calls, emails and letters from just Harris Fowlers and from whoever was sorting things out at the time. However I was shocked that from the first phone call to the ending of my case the only member of staff I had phone calls, email, letters or any other interaction with was Vicky Crandon. Having a signal person to contact was reassuring and helpful it also meant that she knew my case. I was always spoken to with respect and she was always on hand to answer any questions I had even the ones she has probably answered millions of time. The case was handed via phone, email and letters which meant no going to their offices or home visits. Harris Fowler made all appointments for medical reports at a time that was convenient to me also at a local venue meaning no long journeys. When I needed to change the appointment it wasn’t a issue.

My case was taken on as no win no fee. Vicky explained what this meant as o was a litter dubious as you see and read the articles of people having a no win no fee case and ending up pay the solicitors thousands of pounds when their case doesn’t go to plan. Vicky explain that I would never be asked for any money up front or during the process of my case. She explained that the solicitors take a percentage of any money you receive from the person you claiming against she also told me a minimum amount of money I would receive if the case was successful. Any paperwork she provided me with she gave me time to read it and review and didn’t expect any response until I had read the documents which all was able to be sent via email. My case was resolved and all payments were made to me in a timely manner and without any issues.

I don’t do reviews online often. However as Vicky Crandon and all at Harris Fowler acted so kindly and professionally I felt I should. If you have an accident, injury l, trip, sleep etc and you thinking of making a claim as it wasn’t your fault the call Harris Fowler they will help you through the process of making a claim.

In June of 2022 through no fault of my own I was badly injured in a road traffic accident. Sadly this left me a paraplegic and dependent on a wheelchair for life.

After speaking with three different people and providing a detailed report of my elderly aunt’s injury—caused by a bus driver accelerating before she was seated—I was told they would confirm with their director if they could proceed. Ultimately, I was turned away without any valid reason. Their excessively played TV advert suggests they handle a wide range of personal injury cases, but this seems misleading. Avoid.
