The purchase and sale of my first home, with two different solicitors, was stressful and traumatic resulting in me having very little trust for who I was to chose to represent me next. I cannot fault Sarah Walker with the conveyancing process and advice received concerning the purchase of my first home. She was organised, highly efficient, friendly, straightforward and kept in touch about what was happening promptly. Everything was made so much easier as things happened when she said they would. When Sarah was on leave Mark was also great.
Prior to appointing her, she was happy to answer all of my questions, and during the process patiently and professionally responded to queries despite them probably being annoying questions received from every first time buyer. On completion day, when it took several hours longer than expected to get the keys, and it was after 1700 on a Friday evening, Sarah wouldn't go home until she knew I had them. She is supposed to finish at 1430.
If there was something negative I could think of I wouldn't hesitate to be upfront and share, and honestly I cannot think of anything.
If you're looking to appoint a conveyancing solicitor I would recommend stopping searching and ask for Sarah at GWL.
