This is a one-woman band and a very expensive one. The first thing she will ask you is - do you own your own house? Depending on what you say she will then quote you her hourly fee. Because she is a one-woman band she is the most expensive photocopier in London. My case (family) was simple - in fact I even wrote my own statement which the lawyer merely edited - for the privilege I was charged well over ten thousand pounds. To add insult to injury - when I asked for a detailed account of how her fees came to such an high figure she issued court proceedings in the county court and in her statement to them she (very unprofessionally) gave the full details of my family case and what happened. Avoid this solicitor like the plague. She is very poor value for money.
