Absolutely shocking, went to GLP for probate when my mum passed away in February 2020 was quoted in writing it would cost £500 - £1500, there's no complications as there's only myself. At present they have taken approximately £3000 from my mums account without written permission from myself and are now charging me another £3200 and refuse to release information I need until paid. Not to mention they paid themselves the first £3000 before paying my mums debt off. Absolutely disgusting service and not once did they communicate with me that the bill would be going above the quoted amount or why until sending me the bill and me questioning it . Will never use GLP again and certainly would NOT RECOMMEND

Was recommended to use the business in Pendlebury but how wrong me & my family were and knew we should’ve gone to other as from just under 15 months of dealing with the business over the loss of my late Step-father. They were unprofessional and rude quite often, unsympathetic, no compassion, uncourteous, arrogant.. Them dealing with my case & loss should’ve been to ease the stress and tension i was dealing with besides going through Covid IT DID’NT EASE, {not helped with also shortly before and after this timeframe my Mother, then Father and others died!!}. DO NOT USE.

I initially contacted them about 16 months ago to divorce my wife.
I was advised to go to court in regards to my daughters welfare, who lives with my ex.

After a long legal case,which I now know I never had a realistic chance of winning, my daughter is still with her mum by choice. Consistanty ignored me when i attempted to expose my ex's lies to the court, which I could prove.

With hindsight I would suggest that perhaps their fees are more important than their clients. My solicitor rarely attended court and I was represented by a substitute.

My time and the courts wasted. The american metaphor "Ambulance chasers" springs to mind.

On a plus side my decree absolute has now arrived so I begrudgingly review as one 🌟
